This was a good little hand mixer until this afternoon. Decided to go DED ( southern for dead lmao ). Its not an expensive model yet served well for about as long as I expected. Quality could be better for a better review. Giving 5 stars for the length and time used. Conversely, if you cook a lot choose a brand name mixer for longer life. Cheers

Great item Excellent chopping in 3 seconds in most cases This is so good and takes up hardly any room Saves so much time and it chopped a full onion with three one second bursts Good that it has adjusting power and this helps you control how fine you want it I was dubious that the dough hook would work as that requires a lot of effort and felt it would just the matching out of my hand but it didn’t! I did have to help it get the flour off the base but once a loose ball it did well to knead it A little on the expensive side but good power and range of use makes it worth it

I like the product however one item arrived broken (tall plastic storage). I asked them to send a replacement for that. They did send one but it’s clearly used with marks and scratches all around. They sent another replacement which was brand new. Their customer service try their best to solve the issues, I appreciate that.

Pro: it’s space saving, the egg beater wisk is flat at the end. Con: it’s rather noisy. Like bigger kitchen appliances. Pressing the button continuously makes it unsuitable for longer whisking like butter and sugar. So for baking needs, I would not purchase it again. But for shorter kitchen use it’s great.

this was brought to replace an old stick blender that only had one function, this is great, as a stick blender on its own very happy but when you start using the various tools it has it just makes every task in the kitchen when cooking so much easier, only niggle it is quiet loud, all most as if the grease was not packed in enough. Apart from that very happy and hope to get many years use out of it. Worth the 5 stars and value for money.

The eject button and the speed buttons are well placed and easy to use. The mixer isn’t as heavy as my older ones (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing), which suggests maybe not as durable. However, so far so good. The storage stand is an added plus.

I bought this to repIace a 52 year old Penncrest whose beaters had gotten rusty. I like that the mixer seems powerful more so than my old mixer. I also like how it can sit on the counter in it’s stand with the beaters and dough hooks in the unit. Very handy. The first time I tried it, I thought I had put the beaters in correctly as seemed to click. One of the beaters fell out after I started creaming butter and sugar. I changed sides, though I don’t think it matters as it does with the dough hooks. Worked fine after that. Used beaters to make batter for upside down cake. Worked great. Tried the dough hooks to make WW two-ingredient dough. It didn’t incorporate all of the flour. I think it would have helped to have used a narrower bowl. Still, it worked better than mixing by hand. The price of $26.99 was great for such a nice mixer. I doubt I will be around to see it last 52 years, but hope it lasts as long as I do. Would like to cord to be a little longer.

Our old hand mixer burned out (literally – the motor started sparking and smoking), and after some research, we picked up this Shardor hand mixer based on price, performance, features, and appearance (all of our appliances are a mix of black and stainless steel, so we wanted something that would fit in).
The stand is decent, if nothing special; it’s a light plastic base with slots to hold the attachments and a slightly-recessed base to place the mixer when not in use.
The mixer itself is small, easy to use, and packs a punch. You can easily adjust the power/speed with your thumb (from 1 to 5), and another switch puts it into turbo mode which increases the speed of each setting even further.
So far, we’ve used it to mix a liquidy batter as well as make a thick frosting. The batter mixed very easily on even the lowest settings. The frosting (made from softened butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk) was very powdery at first and then much thicker, but even then, this mixer had no problems dealing with it. I just know it would’ve been much more labor-intensive to mix that frosting by hand, especially with the thick consistency.
The standard mixer attachments were simple to hand wash (I believe they’re machine-washable), and the mixer itself can be wiped down easily enough with a damp or dry dish towel.
As far as improvements go, we’d probably prefer a storage case instead of the plastic base, as it would be more convenient to pull out from where we store it in the cabinet that way. It could maybe use a slightly longer cord, but it’s not really an issue, since we used it on the counter right where a wall outlet was.
Overall, we’re quite pleased with this. It’s small, easy to store, works well, and is very affordable. It’s a great little mixer.
