   Very clunky and heavy and hard to get small spaces. Needs to be cleaned fully after every use or water and dirt will smell. Does not pick up hair very well. Disappointing

   This is a great machine. It’s light and manoeuvrable and it really works. I have three dogs of my own plus a part time one that I dog mind- not to mention the grandchildren. Due to the poor weather my floor has been covered in muddy paw prints several times a day most days for 9 months since last October and constant vacuuming and mopping it was sending me round the twist not to mention the damage caused to kitchen cabinet bases due to being damp frequently. This machine is a game changer.
   It’s fab for the vinyl tiles in my house and also, as it uses very little water, my wooden floor loves it too. It handles lawns clippings and all the bits of leaves and debris the puppy brings in with ease. Floors dry super quick and they’re very clean, they look great.
   Criticisms? Not many-I could do with the cord being a little bit longer and it’s a little noisy.

   First off, I want to say I’m not a paid reviewer — I bought the Shark HydroVac with my own money. I’m sharing this because, when I was looking to buy, I struggled to find many reviews from people with genuinely dirty floors. So I held off cleaning for two days (gross, I know!) just to really put it to the test.

   Let me tell you, I’ve tried everything to make floor cleaning easier — steam cleaners, fancy mops with spinning or scrubbing heads — and honestly, none of them worked that well. I own a few Shark products already and have always been impressed, so I had high hopes. Thankfully, the HydroVac didn’t disappoint.

   We have large, muddy, slobbery dogs and messy teenagers, so our floors take a beating. The Shark handled it like a champ. It is a bit of an investment, but in my opinion, it’s absolutely worth it.

   One thing that really surprised me: how dry the floors are afterwards. Usually I clean at night and hope they’re dry by morning — with the HydroVac, they’re basically dry straight away! I did take my time and went over areas multiple times because our floors were especially bad, but if your floors are cleaner to begin with, it’ll be a lot quicker. I just let the machine do the work.

   This is also a brilliant option for anyone with back issues — it glides effortlessly and isn’t heavy at all. Cleaning the machine is also a breeze. The self-cleaning mode works really well, and all I had to do was empty the tanks and leave the roller to dry.

   I used it on both stone and vinyl flooring. Our vinyl has deep grooves that normal mops never clean properly — I usually have to scrub them by hand. The Shark got into all the grooves. I was seriously impressed.

   To sum up: I’m genuinely thrilled with this purchase. It exceeded my expectations and has made a dreaded chore so much easier

   I live in a farmhouse with 3 dogs, 2 children and a husband, and am constantly mopping the dam floor!

   This has to be my favourite purchase to date. I am aware of how utterly sad that sounds, but the joy of seeing the lino in it’s original glory is immeasurable.

   I love that you don’t have to vacumm and mop, this cleaner does both at the same time. The cord is a decent length, and the dirty water tank is adequate for my needs.

   The self clean function is great, and the dirty water tank is easy to clean.

   I wish I had bought this sooner.

   If you are thinking of buying a Hydro vax don’t hesitate! This has been a lifesaver for me and is quick and effective and even cleans itself. Even though I have a small kitchen I have small children and a dog and it helps immensely I would give it 10 stars if possible.

   We have 4 young children and 2 small dogs that constantly make a mess of the flooring. This machine is just not up to the job. If you were to use it repeatedly every single day then it might just keep on top of things, but as soon as there’s a bit soiling to tackle it just can’t do it. I have to walk around with a cleaning cloth and spray to tackle any tough bits that the machine can’t handle. The clean and dirty water tanks are small so constantly need emptying or refilling. Luckily I deliberately avoided the cordless model as the battery would almost certainly not last long enough. At the same time as buying this I bought a rival carpet cleaner which is outstanding and was £50 cheaper. Ironically the carpet cleaner is better at cleaning our hard floors than this hard floor cleaner. The only redeeming feature of this cleaner is the self cleaning mode.

   I highly recommend this ❤️ l Love this machine ,hoovers and washes at the same time . It has made my life100% easier ,as l suffer from P.M.R. had lm now only doing each room once but foing 2 jobs .
   It’s also very light to manoeuvre , l now hoover and wash all my floors (4rooms) every day in 40 minutes …and it cleans itself what more can you want 😁😁😁

   I bought this 2 days ago . It worked quite well for about an hour then it just kept stopping and saying that the waste tank was full. It wasn’t full it was totally empty and clean. This problem persisted so I made an attempt to return it to Amazon. They seemed helpful but when the driver said that he had tried to pick it up ( he hadn’t) Amazon became very unhelpful. They said I would have to pay for it to be sent back myself. I asked for the address to send it to and it didn’t seem right. I then recieved an email from Amazon saying that this machine had been sent in addition to another order by mistake and if I send it back I will not be reimbursed!!! This is totally incorrect and I feel that they are deliberately being unhelpful and not wanting to reimburse me . It is a lot of money to lose. So beware they can be extremely unhelpful if they want to be
