The mattress itself is very comfy however the process of getting the mattress was not the best. It got delivered but it was the wrong size, delivering double instead of King. Thee is nowhere on the information that states the size in terms of king. It does say 135cm. This mattress weighed 52kg and took a lot of effort getting up the three flights of stairs, luckily the delivery guys were brilliant and carried it up the first set for me. However the packaging was filthy and i didnt want it taken up any further. Then i realised it was the wrong size. Had to have the mattress in my house for another week in the hallway until it could be picked up. Then had to wait a further two weeks for the correct size to be delivered weighing in at 62kg. Once again the packaging was dirty and when i removed it, it marked all the lovely new bed. It took 3 of us to carry the mattress up the stairs and this was still a struggle.
I have marked the product as high stars because even though it is extremely wide (needing an extra wide 45cm mattress protector) it is lovely to sleep on and has started working on my insomnia. Although not so great sleep in this heat.
In addition i am extremely concerned the original mattress that went back didnt get put back for sale and just went straight to a skip because there was no care in carrying it out across the street to the van.This would be very shameful as there was nothing wrong with it and i hadnt even taken the packaging off.

I don’t know where all the bad reviews are from but we bought two king size in 2016 and these are so comfy, when you have been away and you get into your own bed you think oh this is so comfy.
It is also looks like new, brilliant mattress that looks and feels like it will last a lifetime.

First the positive points.
Delivery was timely, efficient and the delivery guys managed the mattress up the stairs and into the bedroom (and it was a tight squeeze so they worked hard at it.) Despite warnings to the contrary, the mattress did not emit any odour at all – the only smell was that of newness in terms of the materials. The mattress itself is fantastic in terms of comfort and the Geltex foam being both cooler and better able to spring back to shape than normal memory foam (this after two previous memory foam mattresses. The materials and workmanship look top notch, everything seems to be made to last the lifetime of a mattress of this quality.
The negatives
The super-king version of this mattress is a monster in terms of being huge in standard dimensions but so deep that it really does take effort to manoeuvre…it is a very fit two person lift and I doubt we’ll even get this out of the house if we do move without it being somehow folded up! You may want to consider two singles on a bed if access is restrictive for delivery.
The deep dips in the top shape of the geltex cover which are made by the sewn buttons are initially a little strange as it distorts the top much more than expected, however because you sink in to the top it does flatten out to some extent.
The biggest negative though was that almost immediately after purchasing I saw an advertisement come up showing the price had been reduced by a further significant amount, leaving me feeling a little disappointed that I had paid over the odds if only I’d waited another week or so, as a result I’ve since found Camel, Camel, Camel and will certainly be viewing trends from now on 🙁

I bought this mattress after having constant back pains from a natural latex (very expensive) mattress. After trying some of the geltex series in some furniture shops, I decided I would go for this, but couldn’t find the exact 1850 pocket springs series (tried the 1000, 1400 geltex)… So bought it only after reading the great reviews and hoped it would be like others described it. After a lot of research, I decided I would go with a geltex, as it is newer technology, (I hoped it would be better then the classic memory foam, and it is…). About this mattress I can say and assure you that this is the best mattress ever I have ever slept on, my strange backpain magically dissapeared in just 1 week…(my job ties me to chair like more then 8 hours a day so my back has a lot of suffering from that).I have to say that I was in doubt as on some sites it was described medium to soft, on other medium…I was kind of afraid that it would be too soft for my husband, which is a tall guy (1,92) and about 115kg…but I assure you it is not soft, in the way that it gives you just the right kind of support, and I was so releaved that my husband liked it… actually he now leaves his couch and comes into bed earlier just because it’s so comfy!!! The geltex layer on top gives the softness and you just feel, from the first moment you lye down that it hugs all of your body in some way, your back, your legs… it is really really a great invention and combination with the 1850 pocket spings! It is a tall mattress, I bought some sheets that were 35cm deep, so everythink ok…
When it arrived it was very well packed, in perfect condition…and the smell that everyone so much talks about I just couldn’t find it… It is not so tragic as some describes it and I really don’t understand why they make such a big fuss… We actually slept on it from the first day…
This mattress is perfect in every way: it gives you support, (without it being like really firm and strong, or harsh – I have a kingsize miracoil mattress in my son’s room with memory foam on top, again from silentnight, and I find it really strong, don’t really like it, so I would agree that the 1850 pocket springs are really perfect, I just cannot explain it…they just mould after your body weight without your body feeling like it’s been pressured against something… ) it is soft on the top layer, just enough for you to sink in it and you just don’t want to wake up!!! My husband told me that the next morning he woke up…And also I would add that given his weight, beeing near him in bed, the mattress does not sink (you know, when sleeping with somebody heavier then you and the mattress makes you lean towards him) so I can have also a really goodnight sleep, I hope you understand me!
In oder words, I assure you, you will not make a mistake buying this mattress without trying it (like I did, after reading lots and lots of reviews)…and not even the height doesn’t bodder me, because this actually makes it what it is…the best mattress ever!!!
