I was really excited to try this portable espresso machine as I liked the idea of making coffee on the go, especially while travelling or spending time outdoors. The design looks smart and compact, and I appreciated the self-heating feature and the ability to use both capsules and ground coffee. It seemed like a handy all-in-one solution for a decent coffee when away from home.
However, the reality didn’t quite live up to expectations. The cup leaked unless it was screwed on very tightly, and even then, I found I had to double-check it was secure to avoid mess. More importantly, the pressure during brewing wasn’t strong enough to deliver a proper espresso experience. The water did come through, but not with the intensity or heat needed for a full-bodied shot. It made the whole process feel more like a lukewarm drip than a 20-bar espresso.
Overall, it’s a nice idea with some useful features and a sleek look, but the performance fell short, especially for coffee lovers looking for a rich, satisfying espresso. It might be suitable for someone who values portability over quality, but I’d suggest looking elsewhere if a strong, consistent brew is your priority.

I really like this portable espresso machine. It is simple to use with step by step instructions. The machine itself feels well made and twists securely together. Unfortunately I was only able to use it with the charge it arrived with as every time I tried to use the usb plug to charge the machine, it tripped our power. The actually usb plug on the lead is very flimsy, longer than usual and didn’t fit entirely into the usb socket on our plugs. I couldn’t use a different lead as it is not a C port connection. It is also provided with a car charger but this works from a cigaret lighter- my car has a USB port instead. Very disappointing and wouldnt recommend due to the charging issue.
