Im Rahmen des Vine-Programms konnte ich diesen BT-Lautsprecher unter die Lupe nehmen.
Auch wenn ich den Artikel dadurch kostenfrei erhalten habe ist meine Wertung davon keinesfalls beeinflusst.
Sie erfolgt so, als ob ich die Ware ganz normal gekauft hätte.
Die Sendung kam schnell, sicher verpackt und unbeschädigt an.
Verarbeitung:
Einwandfrei, keine Fehler feststellbar.
Beiliegend finden sich Manual (mehrsprachig), ein Ladekabel und ein Tragegurt.
Funktion/Produkt:
Der Artikel kommt vorgeladen, Ladestand geschätzt 80%.
Ich konnte also sofort loslegen.
Die Koppelung mit einem Samsung Galaxy S24 funktioniert auf Anhieb, so wie das eben
sein sollte.
Habe hier noch zwei weitere BT-Lautsprecher von JBL, einen Clip3 und einen Clip4.
Der Anker ist vom Klang her klar besser, kostet allerdings auch mehr.
Zudem bietet er sehr viel mehr Volumen, schon deswegen ist ein klanglicher Unterschied da.
Nun zum Wichtigsten, dem Klangeindruck.
Finde ihn recht ausgewogen, Bass kann auf Wunsch verstärkt werden, je nach Quellmaterial
ist das aber nicht unbedingt notwendig. Eine EQ-Funktion findet sich in der App oder man
stellt das im Wiedergabegerät ein.
Der Lautsprecher wird bei mir vorwiegend für Hörbücher eingesetzt, dafür ist er prima geeignet.
Musik habe ich ebenfalls mal getestet, klingt ebenfalls recht ordentlich.
Da habe ich schon weitaus schlechteren Blechdosensound ertragen müssen.
Der Anker steht da doch deutlich drüber.
Trotzdem, Hifi bekommt man hier nicht. Das sollte aber schon beim Preis klar sein.
Eher als Spielerei empfinde ich die Lichtshow. Muss man nicht zwingend haben, ich habe
es ausgeschalten. Stören tut es allerdings auch nicht.
Via App kann man noch ein paar Dinge einstellen, es geht übrigens auch ohne Konto.
Der Speaker wird gefunden und man hat Zugriff auf bestimme Einstellungen.
Unter anderem kann man dort die Abschaltzeit einstellen, habe bei mir mal 60 Minuten gewählt.
Das klappt auch.
Nicht getestet habe ich die Koppelung mehrerer Lautsprecher.
Auch einen Dichtigkeitstest habe ich nicht durchgeführt.
Wie lange die Lebensdauer des Akkus sein wird kann ich derzeit natürlich nicht beurteilen.
Fazit:
Klang ist gut, natürlich keine Hifi-Qualität.
Ich bin mit dem Artikel zufrieden und gebe ihm sehr gute vier Punkte (4,4).
Abgerundet sind das vier Sterne.
Fünf gibt es nur sehr selten, eine schlechte Bewertung ist das daher nicht.

This is a fantastic Bluetooth speaker that is meant to be used outdoors in nearly any condition. The speaker material is tough, durable and built to withstand tricky weather. It is not lightweight but still easy to carry and comes with a detachable strap for added convenience. It is easy to put on and off and makes it comfortable to take the speaker with you.
Connecting the speaker is straightforward and is set up within minutes. I already have the app and the speaker was picked up immediately. There are lots of customisation options including EQ, lights and my personal fav – the buzz clean! This is great to clean debris and dust using vibrations and it is effective. You can also combine more speakers if you have more than one to create connected stereo speakers. Also, there is a handy SOS alarm that can be activated by holding the bass button for 5 seconds. It also stays upright in water and is drop proof for up to 1m.
The sound quality through the speaker is clear, crisp and amplified. It sounds really good on loud volume and there is credible bass and depth. The battery life is fantastic with 16H playtime.
There are other great features that make this speaker the perfect outdoor companion.

As soon as this Bluetooth speaker arrived I was amazed at the sheer weight of it, and knew straight off this was going to sound amazing. Weighing 830 Grams, and sized at 21D x 8.5W x 7.8H centimetres.
Now many other speakers do NOT have an amplifier in them, so you literally have to have the phone’s volume on FULL to get the volume, which is often distorted and overloads the phone. NOT so with this speaker, as it has it’s own amplifiers inside it, in fact the Speaker maximum output power is 50 Watts, so even with the phones volume on, say, 33%, it was possible to obtain amazing volume from this “Soundcore Boom 3i” speaker.
Although it is IP68 waterproof, which means kayaking, pool party, water adventure, and more, I am happy just to have it as an amazing powerful bluetooth speaker for house, garden, party, meetings, kids birthday venues and more. But as the makers say “it is a most rugged outdoor speaker, with Double the Bass using ‘BassUp 2.0’ to Enjoy 50W of powerful sound”, and 100 Metres range too.
I wish I could give this item more than 5 stars, it’s so affordable too, and really does put other bluetooth speakers to shame, some as I mentioned, which do not even have an amplifier in them, and require your phone/tablet volume literally on full to get half a decent sound. Well done to the makers, I recommend this more than ever.
One of my images shows the bluetooth SSID, which is the same on all these, and as mentioned it took just a minute to set up, as it was so responsive.
A strap is included, and the makers have shown in their book how to attach this, and of course, once the speaker has been charged with the included USB-C cable, I made sure the USB-C port cover was closed to keep it waterproof.
The book included also shows advanced features when using the Soundcore app, more details of the app are shown in the included instruction book.
To think, that I can literally place this responsive and powerful device in the garden, even up to 100 metres away if I were that lucky to have lots of land, and just play music from my phone/tablet from the house, without putting undue strain on the phone itself. Awesome product, truly.

Wow! This little green machine gave the Ult Field 1 a run for its money! I personally like the sound from the Boom3i better than the Ult field 1 but it’s all subjective. I got a ton of speakers but this little guy stands out!

Remarkable performance in many environments where you wouldn’t normally want to take a speaker- even one which looks as hard as nails as this one!
The rubberised exterior has 2 light bars at the side, they pulse independently of the actual music and seem to cycle though a couple of primary coloured LED beneath a soft, opaque plastic cover- the lights are fun, bright and adds a great vibe in the dark.
Size wise, it’s very compact for the volume and depth of sound it puts out, it can get quite loud locally and the base is impressive for the shape and size. The sound quality is good and crisp, the speakers are very faithful in reproduction and whilst it doesn’t have a full range of larger speakers, it gives a good sound in wide spaces.
Construction is a matt plastic-looks like rubber exterior, the speakers are visible beneath the thick wall grille and the overall cosmetic effect is industrial design cool. All the controls are on the top surface, with lights, bass, volume and Blue-tooth. Charging is via a captive rubber plug at the rear, beefed up and sealed to protect the inner changing USB C port.
The ruggedization goes beyond the construction cosmetics, the system will reported float in fresh and salt water, ensuring the speaker is uppermost so the sound isn’t literally drowned, it also has a shake function to persuade the sand to exit easily- I haven’t tried either of these functions , but as everything else ahs worked well so for, I anm taking Anker on trust here.
I found the Bluetooth pairing with a number of Apple and Samsung products to work easily and very well- I also tried a Bluetooth dongle and it picked up the sound and played it well- no issues and maintained connection even over a 30 m interior distance- so a good strong BT connection.
Overall, it’s very understated until the lights and music starts- it’s great for events, camping, beach life or simply on the kitchen table- no issues, concerns of problems seen at all over first and second uses – think I’ll try it in the bath next- will let you know if it sinks!
