   This kettle started switching off before boiling point around 7months of use. When I bought this to the attention of the seller I was referred to the manufacturer. When I raised this with Amazon I was told it was being reviewed – no conclusion or replacement has been made todate.

   IN CONCLUSION – DO NOT BUY THIS KETTLE – you expect a kettle to last more than 8 months and there appears to be no minimum guarantee that either the seller or Amazon will action. POOR PRODUCT & SERVICE

   Great looking kettle that pours well and boils quickly. The only thing that is slightly odd is because of the shape you need to put in a fair amount of water before you reach the minimum level (otherwise you will fill your room with steam!), so quite a bit of water if you only want to make 1 mug.

   Perfectly good family kettle. It doesn’t like having a small amount of water and it is tricky to fill for a one cup session.

    I have had this kettle quite a long time and I hate it. I like the purple and the shape but that’s it! Every time I use this I get burned with steam, it is impossible to pour without getting steam all over you but sometimes picking it up will burn you too. I will be looking a new purple kettle of a different shape as I do think despite how cute the shape is, that’s what causes the steam issue.

    It’s a kettle. It boils water. But it’s PURPLE – love it! Although, having purchased this, Amazon are now trying to flog me all other kitchen gear… toaster, tea towels, mug tree, in PURPLE – you can have too much of a good thing!

    I had the identical item in blue – that lasted 3.5 years. Not sure how long a kettle should last, but happy to buy another one. Love the shape and the choice of colours!
