First off this product offers the option to use the same power pack, which is a great bonus, the power pack itself charges quickly and I have not had it run out on me and my garden is pretty overgrown and large. I have also used the power pack in the lawn mower as well after cutting back the overgrowth with both trimmers and have had no problems with the battery running out.
The grass trimmer itself is light and well balanced, its also such a ease to handle that it helped turn a job I was dreading into a pleasurable one as it cuts straight through the undergrowth like butter. This is the same for the hedge trimmer which I found to be more powerful than I anticipated and had no problems in helping me cut back some unruly bushes and hedges.
To summariise a great purchase at a affordable price that offers a high end product that is certainly up to the job

Very lightweight and great for trimming small hedges which aren’t too overgrown. However, they will only cut thin stalks, the battery only lasts for approx 40 mins and then takes approx 2 hours to recharge….. so not ideal for big and/or overgrown hedges!

The strimmer is really powerful, takes a little getting used to but it is light and easy to use. It does come with a small number of then in the pack but I would recommend buying some spare blades as it is so powerful it’s easy to damage them at first until you get the hang of it. Assembly is easy aside from the handle which is different from that described in the instructions and is near impossibly fiddly to fit using the supplied spanners, however it is easy to fit using proper tools. The hedge trimmer is very good the only slight downside is that it is a tad heavier than a corded one. Overall these reduce the time wasted doing essential garden chores substantially as does the mower I bought from them previously. I had a small problem with the mower but customer service was first class, cannot be faulted. Buying this set with another battery is great as it gives me reserve capacity for the mower too although so far I’ve not needed it. Overall the products seen well thought out and well made, I’d certainly consider more swift products I in future.

What was once a chore has now become an activity I genuinely relish!
The 450mm blade length is spot-on for tackling my hedge, which had become a proper challenge whilst I was working in Dubai for three months. Also the rotating handle is terribly useful for angles, especially when I’m trimming the top of the hedges without having to contort myself on the ladder like some sort of acrobat! The dual-action blade cuts through branches efficiently, however, it does seem to struggle a bit with anything close to its 22mm capacity at times.
The battery life is decent but not exceptional, I managed about 45 minutes of use when I was lending a hand to my sister with her garden last weekend. I do wish the charging time was quicker, as I often found myself waiting longer than anticipated between charges.
The distribution of weight has been carefully considered, which is crucial for me as I’m not getting any younger. The safety measures are thorough, however, the double lock system can be a tad fiddly to handle when wearing gloves.
The construction appears robust, but I’m rather curious to see how the plastic parts will withstand the conditions of a full winter in Scotland. It’s not without its flaws, but it should manage splendidly with home hedge trimming duties.

The hedge cutter is easy to use and lightweight. Battery life was adequate to cut our large front hedge on one charging. The strimmer failed after 20mins, but a replacement was provided within 24hrs. Excellent service. I have now used the replacement on a large allotment for 6 weeks without any difficulties. Completion takes approximately 1hr 20mins and two battery charges. My only grouse would be the price of additional batteries. It seems almost as if you buy a battery and get the appliances thrown in for (almost) free.
