I was waiting for a different o e I was getting for Christmas but bought this in the interim…. way cheaper than the other brand and just as durable. Wish I had known. Only complaint is that the screen protector is not “tight” to the screen so it can be annoying when trying to tap your ipad.

UPDATED – after 2 weeks the case has broken. The stand no longer works and we ended up replacing the screen cover as it was awful. Net result we are looking for another case within one month of purchase… I won’t be buying another!
If you buy this case, factor in the cost of purchasing a self-adhesive screen protector as the one coupled with this case is pretty awful and feels like it’s out of the 1990s. The case is sturdy and the stand is good. The home button is obscured such that the fingerprint scanner struggles.
Looks nice and feels like it will survive a few drops which is the main point!

I’ve bought a few of these over the years to protect my autistic boys ipads. He has been known to drop them quite often and, on 2 occasions recently, thrown them down the stairs whilst upset. He’s managed to break 4 or 5 of these cases since 2020 but, importantly, the ipads haven’t suffered a scratch. I’d rather buy these over and over than buy a new ipad for 30x the price.
Recommendation, buy a toughened glass screen protector as well and use a knife to cut out the flimsy one that comes built into these cases.

Stand is very very flimsy and after 3 days has broken, the actual cover is fine and quite sturdy but definitely better quality out there, next time I will avoid this but does the trick and protects the iPad just no prop/stand now!
