So far I’ve used this blender for smoothies and milkshakes (no ice/frozen solids so can’t comment on that). It’s easy to operate and easy to clean. The parts separate easily. I find it takes a little longer to blend things than I expected (had to pour mixtures back in again for finer results), and mine has a motor smell that I thought might just be from first use but it’s lingered. Overall seems sturdy and does the job. Glad I waited for a sale.

Weak, no better than just a juicing machine.
Make sure to test it well before the Amazon return window expires, or you might have to go through the nightmare that I’m still experiencing…
I didn’t use it for a few weeks after it arrived, so when I finally started using it and smoke came out of it and small plastic bits shot out from under it, after just the 4th use, it was too late to return to Amazon (who I will say have always been very good with returns), so I had to go straight to Tefal.
That was over a month ago and after many failed attempts to pick the mixer up by delivery company, to bring it to a third company to be fixed, it still hasn’t been collected.
I asked Tefal for a refund, but they claim they can’t do that because I bought it through Amazon.
I don’t know if it’s Tefal, the company they have hired to fix the machine or DPD that are so useless, but the amount of phone calls, emails and waiting in for a delivery company that never shows up or shows up on the wrong day (several times, after Tefal realised they had booked the wrong company to fix the machine and claimed they had cancelled that pick up, that was linked to the wrong company…) are getting on my nerves.
I will never buy a Tefal product again.
