We have been using ours almost daily for a couple of months now. We have been frying mostly chicken, but steaks as well and rarely garlic baguettes. Also potatoes and mushrooms. I haven’t even bothered changing the program, all it needs is adjusting the times and it cooks anything and everything to perfection. It is on the smaller side I guess if compared to those double air fryers, but I find it is enough for us, it can fit a smaller chicken if needed and cooking times are so short that i have no issue running it twice for more food if needed. I wonder why I didn’t get one sooner. Much faster and so so much easier and convenient to clean than an actual oven.

Love my little air fryer, this is the first one I have ever had, but really love it. Use it for all sorts and it’s fab! The two things that loose it a star are that its quite loud (don’t know how it compares because it’s the first one I’ve had) and if your doing something like cheese on toast, some times your cheese flys off! Presume due to the fan?

I purchased this for my mum who is a complete technophobe so didnt want to get one of these air fryers with complicated settings. This is so easy to use with the simple timer and heat setting.

There’s been a lot of talk about how great these machines are, especially if you want to save money. It’s a good little gadget to have in the kitchen, it will never replace my main oven, but it’s great for certain things. * Frozen items like chicken or fish fillets, especially if they are coated, definitely cook faster – watch your timings!!! * I found that because the heat is so concentrated I have to cook at a lower temperature, ie when cooking directions call for 180° in a regular oven, its best to go to 160° in the air fryer, but again, watch those timings. * Have cooked Morissons Venison Steaks in mine, and found they needed a bit of a marinade to stop them drying out. (They sell them in a pack of 2, they are minced and blended like burgers. I marinade them in a bit of olive oil prior to cooking, a little bit of salt and pepper doesn’t hurt either.) * Have cooked M&S hallumi fries, and mozzarella bites too, it’s ideal for things like that. My main oven would only pre heat in the time these cook from starting the air fryer. * This machine is used for 2 people, it’s ideal for that many. Probably not a good size for a larger amount of people. * Chips have to be tossed regularly to keep them from sticking. (I was hoping that sweet potato fries would work out better than from the oven, but the best way to cook those is still deep frying. If anyone has any tips, I’m open to suggestions.)

I was dubious ordering this for partner as I imagined it’s just another cooking gimmick. Chose the one with mechanical timer as it looked more retro than same old digital display everywhere. The suggested settings for various foods are a guideline,once you’ve fine tuned the time and temp to suit you, the food while be cooked thoroughly and still retain the moisture that can be lost in the oven, or heaven forbid, swamped in cooking oil from frying. We usually use ours for chicken pieces of various coatings/flavours, sometimes potato wedges or pre packaged fillets of meat/chicken/fish. Never disappointed and cooks in half to a third of them time of oven. Downside is it would put most vacuum cleaners to shame with the volume of noise, so you would have to decide if you have open plan kitchen. Doesn’t bother us though. We chose Tefal as it seemed the only one that had a strong, non stick, metal grill insert that was removable for cleaning,the other brands grill pieces seemed flimsy by comparison. The pan is easy to clean also. Very pleased and glad to say it’s an addition that justifies it’s place in the kitchen now, unlike the electronic omelette maker that hides with shame in the kitchen cupboard now !

I have had this for over a year and have to say for my first airfryer it is amazing. Easy to use and comes with a manual guide for cooking all sorts of things for temperature and cooking times which I thought was brilliant and really helpful. No oil use needed unless you want to put it in there. I have never put oil in it. Cooking food it is brilliant. I would differently recommended this to first time user of this type of product.

I love Tefal products, high quality and lives for years, but this air fryer cleaning is really so hard even after I tried for 10 mins but there are still areas not able to be cleaned, i really hope the designers to try this product and then try to clean it so they understand what i am talking about
