Why didn’t I buy one of these ages ago. Trimmed the hedge in a fraction of the time it normally takes, no ladder or steps required and a better job done. Battery lasted the whole job with the spare on charge just in case.

I am sorry but I would be not telling you the truth, if I said this is perfect , it was very easy to put together, a lot better than other items similar I have purchased, still quite heavy stap dogs in shoulder, needs shoulder protection, fast delivery aka Amazon, I have no problem recommending this item for its shear quality, and assembly instructions, so why , I say this, it would sufficent for a small not very thick hedge, good reach, it’s just that it lacks the power, to cut, time after time, I had to stop and try get it off a branch, which jammed in the blades, so I was going nowhere, my corded hedge trimmer makes short work of any branches, I am not saying, that this trimmer is bad, far from it, but you should seriously look at what you are wanting to cut, it is a underpowered light weight trimmer, better for thinner hedges, why did I buy it, it looked the part, like everything today, I will purchase a more powerful corded trimmer , there is nothing wrong with this item, but it’s my own fault, should have looked at the power, the manufacturer has told the truth, a rarity, I thank them, just underpowered..thank you…it’s good

So far so good, tried it on my laurels which are always a challenge. It does a hard job well. However it is heavier than I expected, but that could be just getting it balanced using the shoulder strap. Good choice of angles to cut with. Overall easy to assemble and adjust and durability will decide , what seems to be good value.

Generally very happy with these hedge cutters. Easy to use and quiet in use but I do agree with others who felt that they are rather heavy. It may be a lack of experience with this type of hedge cutter never having used a pole type before. I do feel that it is imperative to allow the shoulder strap to take as much of the weight as possible. Only used once but I would not go back to a standard hedge cutter again. The pole certainly adds a greater degree of safety as the cutters are well away from your hands and body.

First of all, I will state that I’m a Makita fan. Most of my electrical garden & DIY equipment is Makita brand and mostly cordless/battery operated. I am a gardener and was looking for a long reach battery operated hedge cutter. I read a few articles, watched some You Tube video’s and then read even more articles on what was available. I was erring toward a Makita but the £300 price tag was making my eyes water, so I eventually convinced myself that at a third of the cost this Terratek would possibly fit the bill. And if it didn’t I wouldn’t be massively out of pocket. I did order an extra battery as I felt just the one wouldn’t be sufficient. I’ve probably used it to around 20 – 25 hedges of varying size and constitution so far. The blade has kept its edge and no degradation of the batteries that I can tell.
So 9 months in, what’s the pros and cons?
Pro’s – Incredibly light, which in turn makes it easily manoeuvrable. Telescopic, for those hard to reach higher bits, no need for a ladder. Adjustable head, very useful. Battery life, amazing. I have just cut the top of a 25 metre hedge which is a mixture of Ivy, Cherry Laurel and Hawthorne. I had to do both sides and total time for that bit was about an hour +/-. The battery indicator was on Amber. Which for a 1.5a/h battery is amazingly good. And recharging takes no time.
Cons – Just the one and really I’m nit picking with this one. The balance is biased toward the head, a heavier/larger battery would make it better balanced. But in reality it’s not that bad. Just makes your arms ache a little if you’re working at full extension and lower than 45 degrees to the vertical. Would I buy another? – In a heartbeat.

pas de problème de livraison, par contre je n’ai pas pu l’essayer car il fallait charger la batterie, et la impossible car la prise de chargement n’est pas compatible avec les prise EU, il serait judicieux de fournir l’adaptateur pour le branchement sur une prise traditionnelle, vue le prix elle devrait faire partie du colis. Alors attention lors de votre commande ne pas oublier de commander ( l’adaptateur prise europe).

I am delighted with this hedge trimmer. It simply does what it’s supposed to do. I needed a powerful trimmer that reached 2mtrs and not too heavy as I’m well into my 80’s. I am so delighted with the quality of this trimmer. Last year I was faced with a bill of £140 for less than an hours work by a man with a trimmer. For under £100 I now can do my own trimming. Delighted with this machine.

bonjour utilisation unique pour tailler mes haies ,sangle de très mauvaise qualité se décroche tous le temps appareil de bonne qualité pour le prix ,une demi heure de coupe avec une batterie c’est bien dommage pas très bien équilibré mai bonne petite machine pour un usage non pro .
