It claims to be an air fryer, it even says ‘air fryer’ on the box. It is not an air fryer.
If you want an air fryer, I guess you have to buy an air fryer.
I’m sad that I don’t have an air fryer even though I thought I was buying an air fryer.

I purchased this Toshiba microwave just 9 months ago, drawn in by the glowing reviews and solid reputation of the brand. For the first few months, it worked exactly as expected. However, it has now suddenly stopped working without any prior issues or misuse.
The most frustrating part is discovering that, because I purchased it through the Amazon Global Store, the warranty does not apply in the UAE. This crucial detail was not made clear at the point of purchase. I now find myself without any support, despite the product failing well within what should reasonably be considered its expected lifespan.
As a loyal Amazon customer and someone who trusted the Toshiba name, I am extremely disappointed. I’m now left to seek out a certified technician on my own and bear the full cost of repairs — something no customer expects for a premium product in less than a year.
At the very least I strongly urge both Amazon and Toshiba to revisit how warranty limitations are communicated to international customers.

I love this microwave, the instructions were so easy to understand. I have to admit that with my last one I never could understand how to defrost with it but I can with this one. It has so many good functions, being able to just press one button for 1 to 6mins plus the 30sec is so useful. Then you have time cook, time defrost weight defrost, very easy to understand. There is also a useful memory button.

I bought this to replace a 900w oven of similar size which had rusted terribly. This Toshiba is only 800w but actually seems to cook better than the old one. It is very easy to use though there are not particularly sophisticated programs to choose from. I expect that most of the time I will use the Express cook facility. Just press a time (1 – 6 minutes) and it starts immediately. There is weight or time defrosting available. So far the putting in the weight has proved pretty accurate. It will show how long it will take.
The beverage button is also a good short cut. The first setting is for one cup (200ml) and the second setting for bigger amounts or perhaps 2 cups. I heat milk in a mug for a latte (toped off with a lungo from the nespresso machine) and one press of the button is perfect (takes 1minute 10 seconds).
I personally like the design as it looks neat and smaller than it is. Cleaning is also easy with a wipe down after use.
The hot air vent is on the left side of the machine and must be kept clear.
The fan is very quiet meaning the machine over all is also very quiet.

Bought this for my neighbour and he adores it. Uses it everyday with no problems in navigation. Great colour, easy to clean and looks really good. Price is spot on too 🙂

I had to return a 20 litre microwave as my dinner plates would not go in, having had a very similar product for some years, and the light had failed and also was not heating up food evenly. Separately, Amazon’s return service for Prime members is simply the best. If is is a choice between saving few pounds with and another online retailer, Amazon wins every time, after having had awful return experience with non-prime products (mostly supplier mis-description of products and then refusal to put things right).
So, the black Friday sale was just the right time for a replacement.
This 23 litre compact microwave is very elegant, well made, functional, and, importantly, heats up food well and evenly. That’s what I use the microwave mostly for and it is a star performer. Not tried the other functionalities. User interface is simple and intuitive. I would give five start definitely if I had used it for a year and my expectations were still the same. But, it is really a five star for now.
