I like this 2 slice toaster. I have replaced this with my old 4 slice toaster . As it is smaller in size, I spare some space on my work top that is a relief . It is working well and fit for purpose . I toasted two large size slices of bread at setting 4 . It got my desired finish . A large size loaf of bread just fits in the compartment. It is easy to clean and working promptly . In my opinion, it is expensive. Over all , I like it and I will definitely recommend it.

In the market for a new toaster as my last one just died after seven years service. I am moving to a more compact two slicer rather than four. The space saving Tower two slice toaster is a smart looking, compact machine finished in this case in black and chrome. The cable tidy under the base has an exit point at the front side of the toaster which I find odd. This is why I have removed a star from my rating as the cable looks untidy. There is an eject button alongside a frozen bread function and keep warm buttons. They illuminate in blue which I like. The plunger button is a good size also finished in chrome and also acts as a riser. Bread is raised enough to take out without scalding. The slots will take muffins and tea cakes. The elements are of equal brightness and heat ensuring the toast cooks evenly both sides. I did note that frozen bread toasted one side darker than the other though. The sides are not fully insulated and get a bit warm and is by no means the quickest toaster. But being under a KW it’s a bit too slow but shouldn’t cost the earth to run.
Edit: within two months the top has tarnished slightly between the slots.

Covered in marks obviously had been returned before didn’t realise this when I bought it. However after cleaning marks removed but still has a small bash
Fantstic quality toaster, really pleased with it. Has defrost, reheat and cancel buttons and also 7 levels of toastyness. Toasts evenly and can use the bread, crumpets we usually buy which some toasters don’t like as the slices are a little bigger. Also has a removable crumb tray, unlike my last one which I had to tip upside down to empty. Perfect replacement for my broken one. Very happy.
Update: 2 Months and this has blown up and stopped working 🙁

This is a nice looking toaster – it has a modern aesthetic with the soft matte black exterior and chrome accents, but it’s still just a basic two slice toaster.
I like the look of it, and the matte black parts have a lovely tactile feel to them. It’s also very well made and packaged but…
• It’s only two slices, which is fine if only one person wants toast otherwise you have to make multiple batches. • Operations are basically start, stop, reheat and defrost – where’s the option for ‘one side only’ which is ideal for bagels or teacakes? • No ‘lift up’ lever – if something gets stuck or is smallish such as a crumpet, how do you get it out? • The crumb tray is accessed at the opposite end to the controls – I’d like them to be at the same end or else a side access tray.
The self-centring function is standard on pretty much every toaster as is the integrated cable tidy and the non-slip feet. It is nice but it doesn’t break any barriers and isn’t going to change the world toaster-wise.
At £29.99 (as at 25 September 2023) this is about what I’d expect to pay for a big name, basic two slice toaster. Good but not great.
