This brand lives up to its reputation for the “Road Warriors” amongst us. Zippers are strong. Rollers are smooth. Workmanship is faultless. But the colour? It’s called “Dusty Rose”. It’s more of a mauve purple. Why not name it “multi mile mauve”? I will give it points for being a distinctive bag that the guys in your family will never want to borrow from you. It is TravelPro , however … so I’ll have a decade (or more!) to get used to this specialty shade of luggage.

Overall this is an excellent bag. I watched various reviewers online and was already familiar with the high quality of Travelpro. Just recently bought 2 bags but returned one due to the lining issue. I haven’t taken this on a trip yet but feel it will perform well and I love the high/long handle and grip!
So, what’s the LINING problem and why 3 stars?
The bag has interior bars for the handle, which is normal. That means you want to pack around the bars. However, there is not enough material in the interior lining to allow you to to fully use the spaces. So, there are three spots to pack around the bars – left, right and middle. If you press the left and right sides down fully like packing your stuff, because there is not enoguh material in the lining, the middle lining is then raised up and becomes taut like a trampoline – thus making it so you cannot use the midde area for packing!
In a small carry on bag like this one, every bit of space needs to be utilized to the max. But in the design of this bag, you lose 1/3 of the bottom packing space around the bars!
Yet, I am keeping the bag. Why?
All the rest of the bags features are excellent. Because I figured out that by unzipping the bottom liner it lets me pack completely and I covered the middle bottom with part of nylon grocery bag so I have full usability and protect the bag. My wife chose to return her bag.
It’s not a perfect solution but I feel it will work for me. This is something that I did not expect from Travelpro and hope they will correct that in the future.

La compre hace tiempo pero me encantó por eso escribo la reseña. La uso muchísimo y no ha perdido su forma, desliza súper suave y le cabe mucha ropa, lo uso para vuelos de 3 días llevando 4 outfits mas todo lo que necesito para arreglar cabello y aún le sobra espacio. Además cabe perfecto en todas las cabinas de diferentes modelos de aviones, excelente para llevarla contigo como maleta de equipaje. Ojalá tuvieran colores más femeninos y sería perfecta.

I have taken this bag on several trips (pre-Covid lockdowns of course) so far, and I haven’t had any complaints about it yet. It’s compact enough to be the cabin baggage for all the airlines I have flown in so far with it, yet it’s designed to optimize the space. I’ve done 4-5 day trips using only this bag as my luggage, and still had space to spare. It does get a bit top heavy and trips rarely, but that’s easily countered with some proper weight distribution. I’d definitely recommend this as a cabin baggage for any frequent traveler.
