This suiter can carry so much, it’s absolutely ideal for cruising – we managed to fit 3 dinner suits, another jacket, a variety of waistcoats, and 9 dresses very comfortably. It is excellent quality, and has handy zip pockets inside for cufflinks and ties etc. It is large and resembles a suitcase when done up, but ideal when you need to safely transport a good few suits etc. Very happy with this item.

Could believe how well our formalwear did in this garment bag for our 11 day cruise to the Caribbean! We hung a tuxedo, shirts and several long sun dresses and evening gowns. It also has a front pocket for addition folded shirts, lightweight jackets or a couple of sweaters. The weight at check-in was easily within the limit for a checked bag. Please note that it has to be rolled on 2 wheels so not as easy to manage as our 4 wheel Travelpro bags, but we would definitely use again.

Met all my expectations

I had to travel with a full tuxedo, and several collared dress shirts. Arrived at my destination, pulled out my clothes, and there were no wrinkles at all. It may have helped that I packed with all the items in slippery cleaners bags. But I thought the padded retainer that clothes fold over really helps. If I wanted to improve this bag, I’d add a provision to lock down a shaving kit to the bottom. I placed mine there, and it was fine, but having it strapped down would have helped my peace-of-mind. Also the little zipper pockets at the top of the bag could be a bit larger without getting in the way of the hanging clothes. Wheels worked great, the handle seems strong, and worked smoothly. I appreciated the zippered cover that protects the handle when the bag is checked. The bag made the round trip with no wear or damage. Still looks brand new.

Highest quality construction. On the first trip, I pulled my military uniform out at the destination and found it still quite neatly pressed – one minor spot needed a touch up with the iron, but if it had not been a military uniform, it would have been perfectly ready to wear after a 3 hour flight in checked luggage.
It has the typical features, plus a cushioned roll bar in the center rather than a strap, and two buckled straps on each side of the “clamshell” to keep your clothes lying flat even if the bag gets jostled around.
The telescoping handle is durable and moves easily, and the wheels are quiet and smooth.
After the first two flights with this, it still looks completely brand new, so I expect the durability is going to be far better than other garment bags in this price range.
This is my third Travelpro luggage piece (first garment bag from them) and all of them are top-notch, outperforming more expensive bags I’ve owned.

Very sturdy. Large capacity for clothes and other items. The only drawback are the wheels. You can only it in one direction as there’s are only one set on the front. You really need a pair on the front and back.

This item was larger than I’d thought it would be, meaning that together with hanging garments there was plenty of room for folded clothes as well.
We were able to reduce our large cases because of this.
