   I love it. It was well easy to set up with extras if you need it …. You will see what I mean, but didn’t know their names , screws are the best guess -three built in to move where you want them and something else that I’m unsure , unless to lock the spring -a man would know these things. BEST INVESTMENT EVER and I gave my sister the other one and we both have ways to watch our tablets and whatever on them . Thank you for the best tablet holde

   I love the item! It moves in so many directions. It is amazing because I change position in bed very quickly. Make sure to position the base at a midpoint. If you rotate it, it may start to move. It works with large tablets like a Surface. The clip has plenty of room to put it on a thick table. It comes with hooks to pass a cable.

   The only bad thing is the hole to charge, for example, a phone. I’ve had to make it bigger with my Dremel and now I’m very happy. The arm is made of metal and the rest with good plastic so will see how it goes after some time.

   My plan is to buy a clicker for my Kindle and enjoy reading with my hands under the blanket

   Finding a usable stand for your tablet can be tricky. Conventional stands require you to place it on a surface which isn’t always available. In my case my desk is already fairly cluttered and I need somewhere to put my work tablet. So does ULANZI have the solution.

   The stand comes packaged in a brown cardboard box. All of it appears to be recyclable with the exception of some plastic bags. Inside you have all the components to build and attach the stand. Inspecting the main arm it’s fairly familiar. I have microphone that uses an identical item. However the other brackets are different. Including the surface clamp. The clamp can be orientated two different ways to allow clamping to horizontal and vertical surfaces. The tablet grip is spring loaded and has ridge to hold it in place. It attached to the arm with a ball and socket joint. Along the arm there are clips to hold a cable for charging. The construction is a mix of metal and plastic parts. All appear to be of reasonable quality.

   The stand works really well and it can be swivel and rotated into a number of positions. The only restriction was in tilting the tablet in the ball and socket. There is adjustment in the arm elsewhere that can compensate but this requires loosening one of the thumbscrews. I tried both my 8 and 10 inch tablets, even one with a slim case still fitted. It held both securely. My main issue is the amount of movement in the arm. Using the touch screen can cause the tablet to “wobble” due to the leverage from the arm. I feel the clamp needs more surface area to steady it and the arm needs more dampening in the springs to minimise it. The bigger the tablet the greater it will be. Once set it stays in place without issue.

   This is a handy product. The arm is clearly an existing design and it could do with some additions to reduce the “wobble”. Despite this it’s secure and stable enough to view and it has a lot of applications that regular stands can’t fulfil.

    We got a large house and my wife can’t see the tv very well. So I decided to go on Amazon and get a iPad stand…. Then I seen this! Literally attached to the back of the bed. Very easy one screw which you use ya hand to tighten. Would highly recommend very sterdy and can move it anywhere in front of you.

    I like this stand so far. It was very easy to assemble & seems to grip my tablet well. It seems well made, although it’s too early to say if it’s durable. I like how many variations on positioning there are. I do, however, wish that there was more movement on the ball joint. Also when I need to press on the tablet screen, it wobbles a bit in the stand, which isn’t great. Value for money, but definitely room for improvement!

    Bought this to Zwift in my shed, it’s a great option to keep the iPad off the handlebars and out of the sweat zone. Goes together easily and holds the weight comfortably.
