I’m giving this 1 star because it is misleadingly marketed as a phone with high volume. It is not. It is actually a low volume compared to any modern iPhone etc. These phones are designed for the elderly why on earth would you make a low volume phone, and why would you then lie and says it’s high volume ??.

I’ve purchased this Mobile Phone for my Mum who’s getting on in her years now at 85, mainly because she’s starting to struggle in moving to answer the old corded House Phone and your usual Mobile Phone is Mega Complicated to Operate! This Phone manufactured by “uleway” is a bit like stepping back 15 years by way of Technology, but that makes it Simple to Use and it’s Specially Designed for the Elderly whose Sight and Hearing may be Compromised a little? – It’s Buttons are Large, the Display is Clear, it Supports Emergency SOS Calls to 5 different Numbers (which could be the Emergency Services, or Family Members etc), it has Great Sound Quality (with Loud Volume Levels) and even a Built-In LED Torch/FM Radio. You don’t have to worry about it being specifically linked to a Network Provider, as it’s “Good for All” (Unlocked) and the Flip Design makes it Compact, Practical and Very Sleek Looking. I’m even Very Tempted to Buy one for Myself, as it’s Quite Retro in it’s Styling and reminds me of an Old Phone I owned in the Past? Overall, for £48.99 I think it’s Priced about Right and will be a Very Popular & Useful Product, especially for those of the more Senior Years! Thank you.

A backup phone is a must have in case of an accident that takes my beloved iPhone 11 out. This unlocked phone lets you move your SIM over instantly, start this phone and be up and running to make calls, send and receive messages, and even take and send photos. I tried a Vodafone SIM and it worked immediately.
The camera quality isn’t great – kind of dim and lacking clarity except in high light. But I was able to take photos and easily text them as attachments. Obviously not even close to the photo quality of modern phones, but they’re visible at least!
A couple of big positives: it has REALLY good battery life and it’s teeny tiny, with a decently sized and bright screen.
The buttons are big enough for someone with limited eyesight to see more easily than the onscreen buttons on a smartphone.
Equally, the SOS function is invaluable for someone elderly.
It’s been many, many years since I had a flip phone, and the nostalgia aspect is lovely. Overall, it is a good phone with basic functions which is easy to use.
A well-built, functional phone for basic voice and messaging – perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to fool around with modern smartphones.

Hopeless… Battery discharges within 12 hours. Never made one call just sent 4 texts. Significantly battery or.phone. Too late to return item. Don’t.use.mobile much so recently discovered problem. Valuable lesson learnt

Not fit for purpose. Useless phone for the elderly. Bought for my mum, but she doesn’t use it because she has no confidence in the phone. Unfortunately too late to return it now. Very misleading description by the manufacturer/seller to the point that they lied. Volume is not loud at all, even worse when you put the caller on loudspeaker – it’s useless, it’s far too faint to hear… and that’s with volume up full. The font is tiny when trying to set the alarm, you can’t see what time you’re setting. There’s nothing in the viewing window to indicate a new/unread SMS message waiting. No point in sending mum a text as she won’t hear it arrive and won’t realise until next time she opens the phone up. SMS messages that are automatically generated when an incoming call has gone to voice mail cannot be deleted from the inbox. Have tried everything to get rid of these but can’t. I would not recommend you buy this for your elderly loved one.

Bought for my elderly mother. 3rd type of flip phone. Positive – large big buttons & bright display. Negatives – only 2 ringtones to choose from. The ring volume and speaking volume on 9, is the highest but is so low. I had trouble hearing someone when I answered my moms phone. And the ringtone is almost non existant. Will be returning for a refund. Will be returning
