As a parent of a toddler, I’ve learned that accidents are inevitable. Unfortunately, those accidents often involve messes that are difficult to clean, especially on carpets and furniture. That’s why I decided to purchase the Vax SpotWash Spot Cleaner, and I’m so glad I did! Just a few days ago, my 2-year-old got sick and threw up on our new grey carpet. I was devastated because I thought the stain would be impossible to remove. But to my surprise, the Vax SpotWash completely cleaned it up! No trace of the stain remained. Then, disaster struck again. My son had a nappy leak while sitting on my brand new £1,000 office chair. The urine left a noticeable white mark that I couldn’t get rid of, even after trying several different cleaning methods. I was about to give up when I remembered the Vax SpotWash. I decided to give it a try, and I was amazed by the results! The stain disappeared completely, leaving my chair looking as good as new. I’ve attached before and after photos so you can see the incredible results for yourself. This machine is an absolute lifesaver for parents. It’s easy to use, effective, and compact. It has saved my carpet and my expensive office chair from permanent damage. I highly recommend the Vax SpotWash to anyone who wants to keep their home clean and stain-free, especially if you have young children.

Cats with hairballs can mean vomit, unfortunate but a reality.
Needed to clean a rug primarily but also found it was quite up to the job of doing a sofa seat as well.
The unit is compact, easily fits under the stairs and is easy to use.
***Pro points are: easy to open the dirty tank to empty & clean out easily, top comes right off. self cleaning hose function, easy to do…. and the cleaning head also comes completely apart to get hairs and fluff out !
Why all the others don`t do this by default has always baffled me.
The suction power wasn`t disappointing, no worse than anything else I`ve tried, things are left damp to the touch, as expected.
It did what was expected and cleaned the rug adequately on the initial trial run I did when it first arrived.
One point of concern is the way the water tank is joined at the base, it appears to be heat sealed and doesn`t seem to be very well done (or designed) in my opinion, a potential source of leaks in the future ?
(This could explain why some people are seeing leaking off the bat, something I will keep my eye on for sure – but I won`t necessarily be leaving clean water standing in it while it`s in storage….not at first anyway)
The hose doesn`t appear to be easily removable in case it splits and it isn`t *that* flexible, so hopefully that won`t be an issue.
Not a lot to say about it really other than it worked as expected with no major issues concerning design, functionality or capability but if anything should occur I will be sure to report back.
I already had a full upright which was WAY too big and incredibly annoying and awkward to clean since getting rid of a lot of carpeting here, moved on to a smaller handheld unit which worked well enough for spot stains on the floor but not really suited to upholstery…
this one seems to be the best in-between option if you don`t have large areas of carpet to clean.
I paid £99 rather than the MRP of ~£129 but felt as though it should have been around the £70 mark….I`m just getting more critical in my old age.

I purchased this to tackle the suspicious brown stains on the grey carpet of the new house I moved into. I’d already deep cleaned from top to bottom but there was a strange smell coming from somewhere and the carpet was the last thing I could think of.
I have no idea what those stains were but the VAX spot cleaner got rid of them (and the whiff) with ease. I did find passing the suction thingy over the area several times from different directions sucked up a lot more water than just going from top to bottom. Doing that left the carpet only slightly damp to the touch and it was dry 24 hours later.
I’ve since used it on the stairs, it’s very portable though it only holds enough water that I had to refill it twice to do the entire flight of 14 stairs. I was quite liberal applying the cleaning solution though…once I started it was hard to stop.
The self cleaning feature is genius, once your done you can fill the tank with clean water to flush through the hose and the machine will clean itself.
Great purchase, not for doing entire carpets but for rugs, stairs, car interiors and accidental spillages it’s perfect.

Very impressed with this cleaner. Ive used it for the carpet on my stairs which gets a lot of traffic from people who dont take of their shoes! This cleaner has brought it up lovely. I had purchased another type of spot wash model and ended up returning it as it picked up zero dirty water. This picked up and cleaned lovely. Very easy to use and clean, I highly recommend.

Love this carpet cleaner, ideal for stairs. I have mainly wooden floors but carpet on the stairs and a few rugs, this cleaner is perfect for my situation. This Company offers this cleaner at a remarkably cheap price, and it is well packed for transport. Good Company to deal with. Thank you

Nice and light. The suction is ok. It does the job. The cable could do with being longer if your trying to do stairs. It does come with a small bottle of cleaning solution. Which wont last long. The cleaning port is a great idea in principle. But always seems to leak water down the back of the machine over the power cable, no matter how careful you try to be. The clear plastic nozzle adapter is made to come off for cleaning. But can come of inadvertently. Best to hold onto it whilst scrubbing. Overall good.
