At first it took me a little while to adjust to this mattress, but it does with all mattresses, especially ones that have excellent support. I had been sleeping on it for 2 months and was just about ready to take them up on their money back guarantee when we suddenly seemed to understand each other and I slept so comfortably on my side. I have had numerous back troubles and usually find uncomfortable pressure on my hip when side sleeping and find that does not happen at all with this mattress. It feels like the weight is transferred evenly across the side of my body and I wake without stiffness or sore spots. Would this be the same with the thinner model? Perhaps not, but this thickness is perfect and the thicker would benefit those who are heavier in my opinion. The mattress has a high-end, luxurious washable cover and I love the dimpled ‘egg box’ texture of the memory foam that I sink in to, comfy without overheating. I have been sleeping on this mattress for 4 months now and could not part with it, the structure and integrity is still intact without any dipping or breaking down of the edges and I highly recommend it to those who find sleeping generally uncomfortable. I haven’t tried the very expensive brands of this type, but I’m certain they can’t be much different. The mattress did not have to be aired for the recommended time, just given a few hours for the layers to plump out. There was no odour, I have seen that some memory foams have a chemical/solvent smell and this does not. It is not a soft mattress, it is a supportive mattress with a comfy layer to lie on.

Fantastic. I had a different memory mattress long time ago and that one was like a concrete so it put me off memory foam mattresses for years! I was very hesitant to get memory mattress ever again. But I chose this one lightheartedly for the single bed in the spare room thinking – if it’s too firm it’s gonna be totally fine because it is only for a day bed.
But this mattress is completely on another level! It feels so relaxing to lay down on it. Even for a mini nap or reset through the day. It encapsulates you in softness whilst still staying supportive. It is like entering a destress zone.
It comes vacuum packed and I was sceptical whether it reaches the promised hight evenly and I didn’t even have to wait the required time, it seemed fully expanded overnight. In warmer room, resting on the plastic cover underneath.
I picked it based on the price, bamboo picture cover, I liked the bobbly bits foam in the first layer and on the reviews.
I read somewhere that people who are light weight (I am 58kg) need softer mattress to cushion them and heavier people slightly medium firm so they don’t sink deep as much and get the needed support. My partner (85kg) is now saying why we didn’t get this way cheaper and softer cozy mattress for our master bedroom!?
I can see how picking the mattress is very individual choice and no matter the reviews people will always have different perceptions. So depending on what you sleep on right now this mattress will either feel softer to you or harder. And no ‘medium firm’ mattresses are the same, believe me. If you are used to springs memory one will feel strange at first because it doesn’t bounce like a spring mattress.
And yes, memory foam mattress will make you feel a bit warmer. Combined with fluffy bedding and fluffy bed sheet I was sweating in a cold spare room in November sleeping naked.
I can see reordering this again in the future for our double bed.

Not the best ever matrace but it’s good and confy. It’s durable I can say. Two months of use so far and no sign of deteriorating in any way. Foam is keeping shape well and it fits perfectly for a double bed My daughter is very happy with it
