I thought this would be a nice hallway table to put a plant on or a few nice things, so it arrived from Germany and I started the assembly, on the small side panels there is 3 holes on each end of the piece, middle part is for a wooden peg, goes in nice and snuggly, then the 2 side holes are for a screw – this is where it got difficult, the holes are not large enough for the screws so trying to keep the screws straight without splitting the wood when screwing in was difficult to say the least, and at times they were just a bit off kilter which made the the locking screws difficult to put into place fully.
I did finish it, but it was frustrating, more so than necessary but it is cheap. If you have the tools, bore out a slightly bigger hole and save yourself a headache lol
