When we received our coffee machine it didn’t work, sent a message to the seller. They got back to me very quickly and sent a replacement which came within two days. New one works perfectly and coffee tastes great. Cant fault the new machine or the seller customer service done as it should be.

When it runs this coffee make is a nice coffee maker. Our first model (purchased May 2020) started leaking from the bottom, reported to supplier who replaced this with no issue. Now the replacement (6months old) is not completing. It isn’t a blockage as I regularly descale (in fact it will run form level 13 to 7 fine, just struggles past that point so I suspect a leak is allowing air into pipe. Now past 12 months from original purchase so don’t hold out much hope…. However one failed unit could just be a one off, as second shows shoddy workmanship to me.

Although this makes a satisfactory ‘drip’ coffee there are a couple of issues that have not been reported in the reviews I have seen so far. One is that the blue digital display is almost impossible to read on the black background, and consequently setting of the ‘clock’ and ‘timer’ functions is almost impossible as you can not distinguish which program is showing; in addition there are no clear instructions to turn off the timer function if this is not required.
There was also a very metallic taste and smell when the machine is turned on. Although this is always present in new machines, it required many more than the suggested 2 to 3 operations to get rid of these undesirable effects before any coffee can be brewed. I would suggest at least 6 are necessary.
The low price does reflect the overall quality of the machine and the coffee it brews, but I am aware that this should not really be compared with machines that are 6+ times more expensive. You get what you pay for.

Makes a great coffee and to wake up with the smell of coffee sets you up for the day, easy to clean and is quiet, good size and you can make buckets of tea or coffee.

It’s a brilliant coffee machine but it could do with a thermastat to suit the people of Great Britain because we like ower coffee hotter then the EU and other county’s but not all country’s the tea would be to have a slow drip on the water into the fillter with the thermastat controlling the heat of the water hot medium cold very cold you see you can make ice coffee from it aswell as hot coffee and tea the thermastat would be similar to the tape we can buy that runs boiling water hot water cold water if you see what I mean sorry for rambling xxxx love xxxxx

Nice looking budget coffee maker, I tried it out after running just a water cycle through it and it makes a nice coffee so happy with this. Will it have a long life with regular weekend breakfast use? I’m not sure, I hope so but with doubts.
I have set up the clock, which is straight forward, but have not tested the timer option yet.

Negatives: the glass jug is very light, the glass must be very thin. I would have expected it to be Pyrex type glass, but this is so light. Also the lid on the jug is flimsy and wobbly and flaps open when you poor the coffee.
There was a couple of damages to the coffee maker also. As I set it up, I noticed a small dented area on the corner of the brushed aluminium front panel.
Then, as I made my first coffee to try it out, looking at the machine head on, I noticed the back plastic edge was lifted on the left hand side. On closer inspection, I saw that this had been badly assembled and a plastic lip which should have gone inside the main body, was on the outside and so the plastic edge was not pushed down flush and the little plastic flap which should have gone in the allocated slot couldn’t go in because of the other bit sticking out. Anyway, it took some brute force with a thin spoon handle slipped in the gap and slid along to push the plastic lip which was on the outside, back inside where it should have been. It took force and determination but I eventually managed it and then the other clip went in its allocated slot and the edge was flush like on the other side.

The first 4 pictures attached try to show the dent and the other 2 show 1, the badly assembled side and 2, the correctly assembled side. Disappointing that no QA check picked up the dent but certainly the badly assembled top edge at the rear of the body.

Anyway, as I said, it is nice looking, fits in the small gap on my worktop perfectly and makes a decent coffee. But it is budget quality and not sure how long it will last.
