My washing machine started to produce black flecks which wasn’t very pleasant. I thought I’d either have to call out an engineer (of course my machine was out of guarantee!!) or buy a new nachine. I decided to try this product based on the reviews. After a couple of treatments I no longer have this problem and found out that it was detergent and/or fabric conditioner around the outside of the drum causing these black flecks when I wiped the inside seal nearest to the drum. I now use this product every few months to ensure I don’t get this problem again. Easy to use. Excellent product which I highly recommend.

Produit acheté pour nettoyer la machine a laver , que l on avait pas fait depuis longtemps. Pour moi s est tres bon produit, économique, tres bien emballer, il y a a l envers du couvercle en carton comme un calendrier qui permet de noter les periode de nettoyage. Alors moi pour astuce, n ayant jamais mis de produits comme ce lui la ; En premier j ai pris un chiffon ou j est mis du cif creme . J ai frotté la machine avec tambour , porte lessive , intérieur couvercle. J ai rincer le chiffon, mit dans le tambour. J ai mit 4 pastille. Fait tourner a 60 degré. Et au mode lavage fini j ai mit la machine en pause . Environ 4 ou 5 heures. Puis relancer le cycle normal, jusqu’à la fin. Récupérer mon chiffon . Et comme par magie la machine de plus de 5 an était comme neuve . Ensuite une pastille par mois et cela suffit en entretien régulier. Super produit qui nettoie hyper bien , saleté, tartre. Qui supprime les odeur. Nettoyage en profondeur qui est tres efficace. Est en plus vous avez dans la boite un an de produits. Produit que je recommande a l achat pour un décrassage et ensuite en entretien. Super produit.

I bought these washing machine cleaner tablets because they seemed like good value for money—a year’s supply in one pack sounded like a great deal. At first, they worked well, leaving the machine smelling fresh and looking clean. However, after a couple of uses, I noticed diminishing returns. The odour kept coming back, and it didn’t seem to have the deep-cleaning power I was hoping for.
Since then, I’ve tried an alternative brand that has worked better for keeping the washing machine fresh long-term. That said, I still keep these as a backup, as they’re easy to use and do an OK job in a pinch.
Pros: ✅ Good value for money – A year’s supply at a reasonable price. ✅ Easy to use – Just pop a tablet in and run a cycle. ✅ Works initially – Gave a fresh smell at first.
Cons: ❌ Effectiveness declines over time – Didn’t seem as strong after repeated use. ❌ Odour kept coming back – Needed something stronger for long-term freshness.
Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option for occasional use, these are decent as a backup. But if you need a deep, lasting clean, I’d recommend trying something stronger.
Would I recommend it? Maybe—as a backup, but not as my go-to cleaner.
