   Bought for an mtd 42″ cut mower with side discharge. I got sick of birds using it as a perch in my garage.. they were plastering it in droppings.. all over the seat and the steering wheel.. I was worried theyd gum up the ignition switch. This cover is the perfect solution.. it’s well made, looks very durable, and i feel it would be suitable for an even bigger mower if needed, as it completely covers mine with a few inches to spare. There is a drawstring to tighten the hem to secure the cover tightly. The birds seem to like it as well, as they have wasted no time in plastering it with their droppings, so therefore, it’s serving it’s intended purpose in protecting my mower. Haven’t washed it yet, but I imagine it would be absolutely fine to wash. I also think it would offer some rain protection, should you be transporting your mower on the back of a trailer. Arrived promptly, and at £20, I feel it was a worthwhile purchase. I definitely recommend.

   Was wondering what the quality would be like and it is good not the usual tarpaulin type cover. This is thick quality with waterproof coating inside to make the mower waterproof. Fits well does the job. Also one of the cheapest on the market.

   Very good quality waterproof cover for ride-on mower. I have a small John Deere X117R mower that is left outside over the summer. Bought this cover based on other reviews. It has done an excellent job of keeping the rain off the mower. I live in an exposed spot and the rainfall and wind is often very strong and persistent (even at times in this summer of 2021). The quality of the material and the waterproof ability of this cover did an excellent job in protecting the machine. There is a tension cord along the edge of the cover with a toggle to secure the cover in windy conditions. The only slight criticism is that it covers the machine only and not the machine plus the grass box. That said, the grass box is pretty hardy and seems to have survived exposure to the weather. I would highly recommend the cover for this purpose.

   It’s well made with good quality materials and does the job perfectly. It’s also a good inconspicuous colour which helps to protect the mower against theft.
