Really liked this product. The magnet is strong and the arm is flexible (but rigid enough) to remain in place once you’ve adjusted to suit. Its a nice feel too and is able to be wiped clean if it gets dirty/dusty. I use this on my washjng machine and dishwasher and would definitely recommend.

My washing machine is in a small kitchen and the door to the machine would have to be kept closed.
I bought this after reading reviews about a small blue “prop” and how it was difficult to keep in place sometimes. Opted for this and so glad I did. Strong magnet and I like that you make can make it shorter or longer to fit in with your requirements. Now I can keep my machine door opened ajar. Very pleased.

I always like to the the washing machine door ajar to reduce damp smell, but have recently adopted kittens who live trying to get in the washing machine and I was anxious they would get stuck. It’s flexible so you can vary the degree to which the door is open and my cats can’t dislodge it. The magnet is string but the product itself is lightweight and easy to fit. Overall a really good product.

The magnet don’t get me wrong is strong indeed, but it is easily movable, so knocked it down accidently, but if nothing touches it, it will stay up for eternity. The length of the flexible holder is adequate for the job, easy to bend, and reliable, it does what it says magnetic holder for doors, I used it on the washer and it is very easy to use. Allows airflow to pass through the washer.
Does what it says with flying colours, I still think they could have added more magnet inside the silicone, like I see 6 small strong magnets, it doesn’t fall that easy so I’m happy.

Got this because my washing machine door won’t just sit slightly ajar which causes a hazard in our small kitchen.
The magnet is quite strong so the product doesn’t slip or fall off, but on the other hand it’s super easy to just remove the whole thing when the washing machine is in use.
I imagine it would work well to keep small pets out of the drum. Also very small children ie, 12-15 month walkers, but a curious toddler would probably be able to remove this – if not at first, then later after observation and growing strength (and realisation through natural experimentation that the magnet is easier to remove if pulled from an angle rather than straight on). So for child safety, and probably larger pets, I’d choose a closure that has a more complicated opening mechanism. We prefer this as it suits our situation.
