   En conjunto bien,y sus adminículos, pero aunque sea de origen británico, dado que puede comprarse en cualquier otro país echo a faltar que las instrucciones no vengan en españo, aunque la parte gráfica es muy ilustrativa, y que dado el precio del artículo no venga con un adaptador para los enchufes de pared más habituales en Europa.

   I’ve owned a Dyson cylinder vacuum for many years but it wasn’t brilliant on hard surfaces and I was finding it too heavy and bulky to carry up and down stairs. As I am having a new hard wood floor fitted in my living room (leaving only my stairs and landing carpeted) I decided to take the plunge and purchase a new cordless model.

   So far I am delighted. It’s very adaptable and copes with cat hair on stairs and landing a treat. For me , though, it was more important that it operated well on hard flooring (tiles, laminated flooring and natural wood) and I am delighted with the result. It picks up fluff and cats hair beautifully and also copes with crumbs and stray cat litter. It’s not so keen on the odd bit of gravel brought in from the garden but that’s easy enough to pick up by hand.

   I can’t honestly describe it as “lightweight” but then I’m getting on now and it’s certainly a lot lighter than my old one. I’ve tried all the tools supplied and they do the job brilliantly. Living in an old property I’m plagued with cobwebs which I can finally remove from my beamed ceiling without resorting to climbing on a chair with a feather duster.

   Emptying is fine once you get the knack and, whilst a little dust is released into the air, it’s a vast improvement on my old one.

   I haven’t fitted the docking station as I couldn’t find a convenient wall space near a socket but the base unit sits nicely on a surface in my utility room and I just leave it charging all the time. All the other bits live in the cupboard under the stairs and take up much less room than the old one.

   I bought this model as it was a “Which?” best buy and I don’t think I shall regret it.

   Bonjour,
   J’utilise l’aspirateur Dyson V 7 à la maison.
   Se décharge, même lorsqu’il est chargé.
   Après avoir chargé la batterie ,l’aspirateur peut être utilisé pendant 25 minutes.
   C’est la raison pour laquelle j’ai donné 4 étoiles à la note générale .

   Overall this vacuum cleaner is fine, but I find it a little under powered. I have been using it on max to do the usual cleaning tasks and it’s mostly up to the job, but would not recommend it you have pets that shed a lot. I have cats and it doesn’t always cope with the hair.

   Wow! Talk about revolutionising household chores! This vacuum is so light, so versatile, so easy to empty and to store .. I wish I’d found it years ago. I’d been considering buying one for over a year because they’re not cheap but I have to say without hesitation that the cost is absolutely worth it!! I cannot express how much this has changed vacuuming for me. I now look forward to it. Okay, at the moment it’s all exciting and new but, seriously, I feel empowered and it’s now a positive thing not a chore I put off and dread.

   A couple of possible downsides that people might have issues with:

   Short battery life – the V7 is supposed to run for 20 mins on regular power – 6 minutes on max (yes, I know .. I did wonder at that!!). If the run time is an issue, ie. if you have a bigger house, then newer Dysons do have up to 60 mins running time (although they cost a lot more). To be honest, I haven’t found this to be an issue in my little house (small, modern 3 bed terrace). The on/off switch is a trigger, so it’s only on when your finger is on it. With a traditional vacuum cleaner you’d spend half the time with it switched on, whilst you’re moving and manoeuvring the wire, hose, cylinder, tables, chairs, etc. You don’t with this. It’s only on when you’re actually using it. You walk around with it off and then press the trigger when you want to use it. It evens dusts surfaces with one of the attachments! 🙂

   Small capacity dust holder – I did worry about this because I’m not the most regular of vacuumers! I used to fill up my Dyson Ball several times and the capacity of the V7 is about a third the size. I have to say that this hasn’t been an issue either. Because it is so light and so simple to open – and you don’t have to wrestle it away from the rest of the vacuum body to start with! – there really is no issue in going to the bin and emptying it several times. You literally click one button to remove the long stick (you don’t have to remove it but it’s easier) and then pull the handle to empty it. It’s very very simple. I also find that, because you’re emptying the vacuum more regularly, there is less dust and no horrid dust cloud (unless you hold it a few feet above the bin, as my son did!)

   Finally, let me just tell you about the stairs!! I used to dread doing stairs .. fumbling about trying to lug a heavy machine up, or use an unwieldy hose (heck, I’m starting to sound like I’m on the shopping channel!). I had a Dyson Ball before this and that seemed light at the time but was heavy, awkward and painful on stairs. Therefore, my stairs often didn’t get cleaned or I used a rubber shoe or brush to do them, which was really hard work and very messy! I cannot tell you how easy and quick it is to use this machine. It is so light and so easy to use. It has a special attachment for stairs and takes literally 5 minutes (even with a cat and my own hair which seems to fall out all over the place!) Truly liberating! The only down side is that now there are several jobs that I cannot put off any longer … like vacuuming the car. Ah well .. it might even be fun! 🙂

   ps. The only issue I have is with the product packaging. Each individual product part was wrapped in a plastic bag, which I feel is excessive and unnecessary. I have written to Dyson asking that they consider replacing the plastic bags with a canvas/cotton tote bag for customers to keep the tools in. If anyone else purchases a vacuum and feels the same way, please write to Dyson (I did it via their website) and add your support. The world doesn’t need unnecessary plastic. Thanks!

   Installé à l’étage d’une maison de campagne où se trouvent salles d’eau, chambres et pièce à vivre avec tous types de sol — parquets, faux parquet, tapis. Facile à installer dans un cagibi et très efficace pour tous types d’aspiration.

   Love this vac. I’ve bought all sorts of cleaners to deal with the dirt and dust my border collie brings into the house, not to mention fur. This cleaner does it all, and is so handy. Plenty of power – I never have to use full power, which picks up the rugs! I only ever vac in short bursts, so the battery holds plenty of energy for me and as soon as you drop it back in the cradle it’s charging up. The attachments are great: carpet/floor powered head, small powered head for stairs, soft dusting head, crevice tool and versatile brush/hard tool. It’s very well designed for ease of use and lightness.
   It also drags in the dirt and fur without clogging the brush heads, and empties in an instant.
   Now, if you are someone who likes to Hoover the whole house for hours on end this may not be for you as the dust container is small and the battery may be limited. But for the spontaneous dirt buster this is the best I’ve ever had; a game changer.
