I am a big Amazon Basics fan, having purchased many items, across different ranges, so when I was looking for a cordless vacuum for the car I looked no further, and at a £73 price point looked great value. Lightweight, great build quality and sufficient tools, this fitted the bill nicely. I did have a trial vacuum indoors, but found the suction really underpowered for this purpose, and did not compare to my Dyson V10, which is infinitely more powerful, and feels more substantial in the hand. The Amazon Basics other purchase option, a blue and white version (at around £120), is more powerful, at 350w v the 150w version that I purchased, so that may well perform better indoors, and maybe something to consider. So in summary my purchase fitted my car cleaning needs(but no more), and I am not disappointed, but just be aware that it is not a like for like Dyson replacement!

Recomiendo uso en piso mediano sin animales.
Es igual, pero igual como la que tengo de la marca Rowenta (comprado en Lidl-online), que tras casi 3 años de uso a diario en el piso (90m) incluyéndose balcón con césped artificial y coche, ya se nota que va flojo cada vez, no van las luces led, el motor hace mucho ruido, etc.
Bueno, es que ya no existen electrodomésticos eternos.
Ahora bien, por 45% menos de precio que la Rowenta, y repito: es casi igual a pesar del color diferente, incluso los asesorios de la marca acoplan perfectamente en la de AMZ. El soporte de pared gris de AMZ es distinto, y 100 veces mejor que el negro original (foto), hasta que cabe en los mismos agujeros de pared de la Rowenta. Además han mejorado las ruedas del palo. Espero que dure 3 años y la Dyson tiene que esperarse de nuevo a ser comprada. De momento va de cine. Hasta la luz led de la Rowenta vuelve a funcionar a acoplar en la de AMZ!

Great, it is powerful , simple and very light. Really impressed ordered one for my elderly father the next day after I got mine. I have a disability and struggle to vacuum but this vacuum makes it much easier. I recommend also picks up dog hair.

Suction is good enough for daily cleaning,very good on both carpets and floors . not very powerful as corded vacuum (I was expecting that) but for me its brilliant and very light weight so I can use it up to multiple times a day and enjoy very clean home . ( for me thats best about it – light weight) Then I do deep cleaning once every now and then with my heavy corded vacuum .
I did much of research to get a smart cordless with reasonable price and I do not regret my choice at all :)))

What a delightful vacuum cleaner! I have had cordless vacs in the past and hated them. This one is great. It has perfect suction and the small head fits into the smallest spaces. When fully charged, it has a long run time. It is light enough to carry up and down stairs with east. I will never buy another corded vacuum cleaner.

I would avoid this. On balance, when this worked it was OK as a low-suction, cheap vacuum that could give the carpets a quick once-over. It wasn’t especially powerful and needed charged about every fifteen-minutes (which was all fine for me when it was working–nothing to complain about there).
To provide some context, I bought this to keep in my holiday place, so it was used very sporadically—perhaps once a month for the nearly two-years that I had it. Unfortunately, this weekend it just cut out and it is completely broken; totally bricked. I contacted Amazon Customer Service about this, but they said there was nothing they could do as it’s been nearly two years, so well out of warrantee (which I was expecting).
I know that it’s just the current trend of making cheaply-built plastic electronics that are doomed to fail within around this time (two years), but I can’t help but feel like this is just another landfill-magnet item, that will now end up chucked in the bin and buried somewhere. This is in contrast to the quality of items from the 80s/90s; I mean my mother still uses a Dyson Vacuum that they had when I was a teen and it’s still working from 25+ years ago.
I think owing to this, I’m going to opt for a more expensive (and hopefully) longer lasting vacuum now, that will hopefully see me well into the future. I think people are moving on from the ‘quick’ cheap purchases made from non-biodegradable heavy plastics that fail quickly and end up buried in landfill, as it’s completely false economy to buy a new product every two years.
Overall: worked OK when it worked, but failed quickly and no way to recycle or repair. Amazon customer service (while usually quite good) were not able to do anything this time around, or put me in touch with the manufacturer (which it is claimed as ‘Amazon’, but is in fact a third-party I was advised).
