Hurray, at last someone still knows how to make hoover properly and for a sensible price – of course it’s Hoover! Powerful suction but light to manoever, handle the right height, tools on board, sensible hose system which allows you to easily swop over to using it. Suffered various dreadful upright designs over the past ten years: Dyson – too heavy; Shark – tools not on board, flimsy with bits breaking off and whole thing didn’t last five minutes; Vax – worst of the lot: complete pain in the rear regarding use of the hose and emptying the bin. Also a bit broke off the handle slot making it too difficult to push anymore. Have yet to see how long my Hoover lasts but wouldn’t mind paying another £89 again just for the relief of having a no fuss machine that works and is easy to use. The suction is REALLY good for a modern vacuum cleaner BUT the clip holding the dust canister on doesn’t hold on strong enough to lift the cleaner which it is designed for (I have an older model which DOES click safely!) so be warned if you try to lift the cleaner with that handle it could just fall and hurt you. Also the cover for the filter is too tight so impossible to remove for cleaning whereas on the old model it just slipped off and could be run under the tap. Other than that -the machine cleans well with good suction and is lighter than older models and IS good value if you are prepared to put up with these two design faults.

I got this for my friends elderly mum and she adores it. It’s light enough for her to manoeuvre with ease. Super long cable that covers her whole wee house and much more powerful than a rechargeable machine. Well constructed and good to look at for the price with decent attachments. I would defo recommend this brands products 10/10…need to look at what else they have myself 🙂

Arrived day after ordering, easy to put together. Very pleased with performance, embarrassingly there was alot in the cylinder after vaccing the whole house, but shows how rubbish my old one was. Very happy customer 😀, fingers crossed 🤞 it lasts along time.

This is the second purchase, I liked the first one so much I had to get another. Now I have one upstairs and one downstairs. I’ve not been sponsored to say nice things about this Hoover, I’m just genuinely thrilled with it. I’ve been using a Vax cordless upright vacuum for about 15 years and have been happy with it, but it conked out, so obviously went to buy another, or at least something similar but nooo, they don’t make cordless uprights anymore, at least none that I can find that’s actually any good. The absolute last thing I wanted to go back to was a corded one, no way, not going to happen, I refuse. So I got a stick vac, and omg, what a useless bit of expensive equipment that was. It was a glorified DustBuster on a stick, so I was forced to get a corded vacuum and I chose this for a few reasons. 1. It’s a Hoover, so now, when I say I’m just going to hoover the living room, it’s actually correct terminology haha. 2. It was over half the price of the useless stick vac. 3. It’s got an extra long stretchy hose that does all of my stairs without having to lift the machine halfway up and balance it precariously on the edge of the stairs while I hold it with my foot. (I have 13 steps) The suction is great, I have a cat, and he likes to spread his litter around so it’s like walking on a beach, this sucks it up with no effort at all. The attachments are super handy, and the suction is still great with the hose on with the long crevice tool. I only have two negative things to say, it’s not slim enough to get under my bed like my old vax cordless, but it’s not that much of a problem, and the mesh filter that comes apart for cleaning feels a bit flimsy like I’m going to break it when I’m cleaning it (I bought a spare just in case) but apart from that, I’m super happy with it, so much so, my friend also got one! I should work for the company!

Excellent product,ease of use it literally glides along carpets and corners,light to use,and very effective ,a rare object in todays world it works exactly as it should ,results excellent and cleaning the filter a doddle,you simply plug in and with the sheer simplicity of this model it does what is promised,and does it well .Far beyond what I was expecting for the bargain price.
