We primarily use the Braun MQ5200 hand blender to avoid the hassle of using a full blender for soups, and it works perfectly for that. It blends efficiently, and the best part is how easy it is to clean afterward. A great, convenient tool for everyday use!

We had a Braun blender decades ago when the first came out and can’t remember what happened to it. In the end our food processor we replaced it with went on the blink. So we went full circle and decided to go back to a Braun blender and this has worked out well (we also have a handheld electric whisk/blender and we found a large food processor seldom got used beyond as a liquidizer). This product is powerful and effective – even the little chopper is useful. A lot less hassle cleaning up than a larger machine. Not subtracting a star – the rubber finish to the grip part is not so pleasant (dust and stuff clings to it) – beware if you are allergic to this kind of finish.

I have a number of kitchen appliances including a 20 year old Braun stick blender which is still working well. It doesn’t have any additional attachments. I have a food processor and a hand food mixer along with a stand food mixer. I use all, but I’m still inclined to do many jobs by hand to save the bother of getting the appliances out of the cupboard. I have arthritis and I’m finding some chopping and grating jobs more difficult and I was looking at food choppers, to easily fine chop veg etc.
I spotted this and after much checking of price and other options…other makers, different combinations of tools etc, I selected the Braun. Oh wow, it’s impressive. It still has the quality look and feel I associate with Braun products. I was particularly tempted by the fact that this unit has 1000w motor. Some are significantly less and may struggle with tougher jobs, plus there a wide selection of speeds. It’s very easy to switch to the whisk and this makes short work of a batter or egg whites. The chopper is amazing and very fast. Easy to pulverise in seconds. The mixing jar is ideal and I really can’t fault this appliance. It’s small enough to keep in the kitchen drawer and it’s something I’m likely to use most days. All the bits are dishwasher safe ( not the case with some other makes) and it’s an all round outstanding buy. Even better, after ordering I remembered I’m a member of Which…I should have checked their recommendations first to see their best buy. This model was tested in October 2024 and is the best buy at 49.99. I got it as a lightning deal for ten pounds less and it’s £89.99 on the Braun website. It’s a genuine bargain and I’m very happy to recommend.

Offert à mon fils qui avait un modèle bon marché (20 Euros) mais qui n’a fonctionné que deux mois. J’ai moi aussi un mixeur Braun depuis plus de 10 ans qui fonctionne toujours parfaitement, je suis donc resté fidèle à cette marque. La possibilité d’acheter des accessoires séparément est aussi un grand atout et le fait qu’ils soient compatibles entre différents modèles est aussi très pratique et économique. Ceux plus spécifiques que l’on utilise pas au quotidien peuvent se prêter afin de n’en acheter qu’un pour deux ménages.

the fact that the product has adjustable speed and different heads is very practical and allows you to do your job in every way. The product is very robust and functional. Of course, there are better products at higher prices, but it is one of the good products that can be bought in this price band. I believe I wont need to buy different product for a long time.
