Avoid this product! Worked fine the first time I used it. Second time I’ve gone to use it, it’s leaked absolutely everywhere. Thought maybe I hadn’t screwed the bottom attachment onto the jug properly at first so after mopping up my surfaces I screwed it on as tightly as it would allow… Still leaking. Looks like the leak is actually coming through the screw holes at the bottom of the jug that hold the blades on so screwing it on tightly makes no difference whatsoever! Base unit now not working either, presumably because the bottom unit leaked through initially which is really quite dangerous: liquid and electrical items should NOT mix.
Clearly product is defective as nothing the consumer can do – or should need to! – about the screw holes holding the blades on from the bottom of the jug!
I’ve started a return for this product and will buy a different manufacturer. Really disappointed as Russell Hobbs is meant to be a trustworthy brand. I’ve added a picture so you can see where it’s leaking more clearly.
Don’t buy this defective and frankly dangerous product. I’m off to mop up milk from my countertops and sadly now I’m without my milkshake.

It’s an okay blender for the price. I don’t like the plastic build of the jug. It feels weak. I also don’t like the burning smell of wire when blender is used. Having said, it’s not difficult to clean. I hope it will last for sometime.

Works well making a smoothie. Feels very lightweight so not sure how long it will last. One reason for buying it was because you can clean it properly.
