This is a great product no doubt. However, it would be nice they considered usability with wet hands. Could get to operate the knob with wet hands, which is like 100% of the time while using it.

I am so pleased with this blender. It is really sturdy and remains in place on the worktop without sliding. The glass jug is quite heavy but it’s great as not thin and plastic. It is easy to clean and the glass jug removes with a quick turn, easily after use. I am so pleased with this that I have kept it on my worktop instead of putting it in a cupboard with other items.

Does well with both hard (ice) and soft foodstuffs, without excessive noise. Easy to operate and clean. Excellent value for money. The high standard of quality you would expect of the Russell Hobbs brand. Vary happy

Great blender and highly effective but the jug cracked with soup. Meant to be really good at withstanding temperatures. The gripe I have is in trying to contact Russell Hobbs for a replacement jug. The only way apparently is by waiting to be phoned (up to 48 hours!!) and giving card details over the phone, which I didn’t want to do. So, just don’t crack the jug!

If I could give zero, I would. Clunky, heavy, old fashioned junk and not fit for purpose. Bordering on dangerous. There is no seal to secure the glass jug to the base unit and blade, so liquid pours out the bottom of the jug onto worktop. Don’t bother with this, save your money and patience.. I found a really good Philips blender in a well known supermarket at almost half the price of this daft model.
