**UPDATE** – Anker CS got back to me and offered me different options to address the issue. I opted for a replacement pair as I quite like them despite the issues so hopefully the new ones will improve. Can totally recommend them just based on the great CS alone. ____ I’m torn about this product. 😑
Context – I own multiple in-ear and over-ear sets. My usual go-to are sony xm4, wanted a cheaper and more portable set to complement.
👍🏽 It’s clearly good quality & value for the money, nice charging box, and works well with two devices. The app allows button customization, great! Very handy for podcasts on the go, you can set it to tap once to forward 30 sec to skip commercials e.g. Also think mic is ok, have done calls on it without issues. Finally, the fit once I’m seated is good – I can wear for long periods of time and forget they are there.
👎🏽 However, sometimes a loud sound burst is emitted, like when doing daily Duolingo exercises, causing pain and discomfort. There’s max volume control in the app, but it still hasn’t stopped them at the max 75 dB setting. I suspect to have mild case of tinnitus after using them for 2 weeks, keeping me up at night. Fit isn’t great for my left ear either when walking, and even my cheaper in-ers fits better. I think its due to the oval shape of them, not round as you find on most cheap sets! The ANC is as expected – not close to being a rival to XM4’s – but ok for the price i guess.
🟰 Overall I’d say be careful if you get them, especially for apps that give small bursts of volume at a time as Duolingo or Drops. If you do continuous listening, they should be fine though. I will likely keep them – can’t be bothered with returns and avoid environmental waste – who’d get a second hand pair of potentially defective buds?

O único ponto onde perde para os AirPods é na integração com o ecossistema Apple (como troca automática entre dispositivos e ativação com a Siri). Mas se isso não for essencial para você, o Liberty 4 NC entrega uma experiência premium, com um custo-benefício difícil de bater.

My current Adidas earbuds are slowly losing battery performance after 18 months solid use, they were £150 in early 2022 so I’ve been looking at the high end Sony buds etc and then saw a launch offer on these. At the price I thought why not, have had lots of Anker products in the past and also soundcore items, always good value.
Paid £1 for a £25 discount on launch day and have had them 24 hours. Been using them for maybe 5 or 6 of those hours so far.
So for the cash I really am amazed at the quality of these. Pairing was super easy to my Galaxy A34, just opened the case and the phone found them , I did all ready have the soundcore app installed (have some Anker headphones for work and a speaker all ready) , which may have assisted with this , but the fast pairing is a great feature.
The various options in the app are worth playing with , the ANC is good, not sure it’s as good as they state but I’ve no complaints, and the auto changing to conditions really does work, walking our dog this morning it clicked in to remove wind noise and again to reduce traffic noise – very clever.
They sound pretty good as well, listening to Spotify which is about the limit of my use for these, and I took and made a call while wearing them and the. Sound and microphone were both good.
Regardless of the ANC to me they sound better with it enabled so for a fuller sound I’ll be using the setting all the time.
Battery life is good, and they came fully charged. Bonus.
Overall .more than happy with these. I’m using the preinstalled rubber buds but will have play with them to see if the fit could be improved for my ears (I haven’t had one fall out so far so think they are fine)
One other feature of note is the ability to have 2 devices connected. I’ve added my Samsung Tab S6 lite to the app and again pairing was very simple.
So a big thumbs up for me.
Might even buy a spare set if they come up on offer again.
Amazing value. For my usage (teams calls, commuting and walking mostly), I’m not sure I need to spend more. The Adidas set will revert to being for exercise use (which is what I got them for but then just used them all the time).
Seriously worth a look and maybe the best earbuds you can get at the moment for less than £80.
EDIT: had some issues getting them to connect to my wiondows 11 laptop – if you suffer the same go into phone app and add new device and then in windows settings ensure bluetooth advanced is selected – my hp laptop couldn’t find them without this setting.
all good now and very comfortable to wear over a working day.
EDIT 2 – after 30 plus days. Took a 4.20 hour flight yesterday and with the normal 45 minutes before take off added the low battery warning came on before we landed. I guess almost 5 hours is pretty good and the ANC definitely worked hard on the flight! They didn’t run out of life but I think I had hoped for more.
Still very happy overall.

Loving the earbuds so far. The noise canceling is not what you’d consider absolute (these are earbuds after all), but it is very, very good. I’ve never had NC anything before, but it’s been great for studying, gym, etc. The touch controls are customizable which is great, and I love the extra feature where you can switch between 3 ambient settings: NC, normal, and transparent. Bluetooth connected right away with zero issue via the app. Volume control is also very easy when you set the control for it. These earbuds also come with an array of different earpiece sizes, but I found the medium which came on the product worked perfectly for me.
I upgraded to these after buying the Liberty Air 2 model around 2019/2020. They lasted me 5 years with constant heavy use, so I am hoping the same is true of this model. I will say that my Soundcore experience has been great and their products are definitely value for money. The sound quality works great for my preference, and I like the style with the long stick- I can actually grab them.

After testing the product out for a couple of days, I am in love. These fit comfortably in the ear, although they may slip out when it gets a bit dirty or when you bend down. The earbuds however have very strong magnets and won’t fall out when falling. The case is a bit chunky, but I did not mind as it still fits in my pocket. I love the opening mechanism of the case, it’s fun to fidget with.
Moving on to the sound quality, I was surprised at how good it was. The hear ID equalizer makes a great difference, and the sound is very adjustable to your liking.
The call quality is definitely an improvement from my previous earbuds, and I can easily talk in windy weather and noisy environments for the recipient to understand me.
What was a deal breaker to me was the noise canceling function during wind, as I live in a pretty windy area. You have to turn on the wind canceling on, but only once. You can barely hear the wind. I’ve heard complaints about the transparency mode, which I agree is not so great but also not needed to be honest. Extra details include: – audio automatically stops when you take off one ear, which takes a bit like 3 seconds – battery is amazing, I used it for a day and it has only gone down by 10% – noise canceling amazing, can’t hear surrounding conversations around me when audio turned on – touch function is a bit sensitive, and double/triple tapping is a bit inconvenient as it often does not pick up as separate commands. Overall, great quality for the price but some functionality is a minor inconvenience which i can get over for this price.

62,91€ !!!! Voilà le prix que j’ai payé pour ces écouteurs totalement incroyables…
A peu de choses près, ils ont tout des plus grands valant une fortune…
# Réduction de bruits totalement épatante ! Ce ne sont pas les meilleurs que j’ai pu tester sur ce point, mais pour le prix, je suis TOTALEMENT, complètement bluffée !! J’ai testé différentes configurations en extérieurs afin de déterminer leur étanchéité :
– en plein centre ville en tant que piétonne, – en voiture en étant passagère, – en train, – en bus, – en bateau en pleine mer, – en pleine forêt (je vis en haute montagne), avec des bûcherons en train d’abattre des arbres à la tronçonneuse, – sur la plage, – en pleine forêt avec des tonnes d’oiseaux, – dans un champ avec un tracteur coupant les foins, – en ballade à cheval, – sur un vélo électrique en ville (uniquement 3 minutes pour tester car il bien sûr dangereux et interdit d’en porter en roulant).
Et bien lors de tous ces essais, je n’entendais QUE ma musique !!!!! Aucun son externe ne venait perturber l’écoute de mes morceaux préférés. Il est absolument stupéfiant de constater à quel point la réduction de bruit est performante sur ce modèle !!
Il est important de signaler que sur ce modèle, nous bénéficions d’une application on ne peut plus complète, qui permet d’effectuer tout un tas de réglages afin de personnaliser le son et la réduction de bruit en fonction du lieu où vous êtes.
Le très gros plus pour moi est que l’on a ; de surcroît pour un si petit tarif ; la possibilité de mettre l’option 3D surround afin d’obtenir un son formidable !!!
Passons à un autre point déterminant selon moi :
# L’autonomie de la batterie.
Lors de mes recherches, j’ai lu pas mal d’avis indiquant que comparativement à d’autres marques plus élaborées, ces écouteurs étaient loin d’être satisfaisant sur ce critère.
Et bien je ne sais pas ce qu’il faut à certains, mais en les utilisant au minimum 3 à 4 heures/jour, je n’ai à les recharger que tous les 3 jours, et parfois même seulement au bout de 4 jours !!!! C’est tout de même plus que correct comme autonomie non ?
Nous en arrivons à l’esthétique, ce qui n’est pas prépondérant quant à moi, mais qui apporte tout de même un plus.
# Le boîtier est on ne peut plus passe-partout. Au vu de la qualité du son, il eût été judicieux d’apporter un visuel un peu plus moderne. Mais il est bien évident que pour proposer un tarif de base si peu élevé à moins de 90 euros, il faut rogner sur certains coûts, et c’est bien souvent le boîtier qui est délaissé… J’ai été par contre très agréablement surprise à l’ouverture du paquet, de constater que les écouteurs sont aimantés avec ce boîtier, ce qui est réellement très très pratique… Mais avec de telles qualités sonores, je puis dire que l’on en vient à oublier très rapidement la banalité de ce boîtier de rangement.
Je me permettrais d’ajouter tout de même un petit point négatif, car je ne peux malheureusement pas l’occulter pour être pleinement honnête.
# Le confort ….
Le pack comporte bien sûr plusieurs embouts auriculaires. Après les avoir testés chacun plusieurs jours, j’ai été dans l’obligation de me rendre à l’évidence, les écouteurs me sont douloureux, chose que je n’ai pas connu avec d’autres marques que j’avais auparavant. Ce n’est pas horrible, mais assez gênant au bout de 3/4 d’heure – 1h de port … Est-ce car j’avais auparavant des modèles intra-auriculaire et que ceux-ci sont avec des barres externes ? Je n’arrive pas à comprendre pourquoi alors qu’ils ne sont ni trop imposants, ni trop gros pour mes oreilles …. Cela dit, de tous les commentaires que j’ai pu lire avant de me décider, je suis la seule à m’en plaindre alors je suppose que ce sont mes conduits auditifs qui ne collent pas avec leurs formes… C’est donc un souci bien minime au vu du son (je le répète une fois encore 😉) incroyable que j’ai avec ces ears acheté à un prix si bas, et comparativement à la satisfaction qu’ils m’apportent au quotidien …
Ah j’oubliais de préciser cette dernière chose comme me l’a signalé mon fils. Lorsque vous êtes en train de les utiliser, votre entourage ne se rend pas du tout compte que vous êtes en train d’écouter de la musique !! Ils sont TOTALEMENT silencieux, ce qui est très très appréciable pour ceux qui sont assis à côté de vous lors d’un voyage et qui ne désirent pas subir vos goût musicaux !!
J’espère que ces réflexions partagées pourront vous aider à faire un choix éclairé si vous hésitez entre différents modèles en dessous de 100 euros comme j’ai pu le faire pendant un mois avant de choisir ces merveilles de Soundcore …

Good value, effective earphones. Comfortable, with a range of different size silicone tips to get the best fit. Good noise cancelling – have been able to listen to podcasts in the gym without needing to increase the volume. Fairly quick charge, which lasts long enough for my requirements. It was easy to download the app onto my phone and I like the range of sound options available. Very happy with these earbuds.

– sur un vélo électrique en ville (uniquement 3 minutes pour tester car il bien sûr dangereux et interdit d’en porter en roulant).
Et bien lors de tous ces essais, je n’entendais QUE ma musique !!!!!
Aucun son externe ne venait perturber l’écoute de mes morceaux préférés.
Il est absolument stupéfiant de constater à quel point la réduction de bruit est performante sur ce modèle !!
Il est important de signaler que sur ce modèle, nous bénéficions d’une application on ne peut plus complète, qui permet d’effectuer tout un tas de réglages afin de personnaliser le son et la réduction de bruit en fonction du lieu où vous êtes.
Le très gros plus pour moi est que l’on a ; de surcroît pour un si petit tarif ; la possibilité de mettre l’option 3D surround afin d’obtenir un son formidable !!!
Passons à un autre point déterminant selon moi :
# L’autonomie de la batterie.
Lors de mes recherches, j’ai lu pas mal d’avis indiquant que comparativement à d’autres marques plus élaborées, ces écouteurs étaient loin d’être satisfaisant sur ce critère.
Et bien je ne sais pas ce qu’il faut à certains, mais en les utilisant au minimum 3 à 4 heures/jour, je n’ai à les recharger que tous les 3 jours, et parfois même seulement au bout de 4 jours !!!!
C’est tout de même plus que correct comme autonomie non ?
Nous en arrivons à l’esthétique, ce qui n’est pas prépondérant quant à moi, mais qui apporte tout de même un plus.
# Le boîtier est on ne peut plus passe-partout.
Au vu de la qualité du son, il eût été judicieux d’apporter un visuel un peu plus moderne.
Mais il est bien évident que pour proposer un tarif de base si peu élevé à moins de 90 euros, il faut rogner sur certains coûts, et c’est bien souvent le boîtier qui est délaissé…
J’ai été par contre très agréablement surprise à l’ouverture du paquet, de constater que les écouteurs sont aimantés avec ce boîtier, ce qui est réellement très très pratique…
Mais avec de telles qualités sonores, je puis dire que l’on en vient à oublier très rapidement la banalité de ce boîtier de rangement.
Je me permettrais d’ajouter tout de même un petit point négatif, car je ne peux malheureusement pas l’occulter pour être pleinement honnête.
# Le confort ….
Le pack comporte bien sûr plusieurs embouts auriculaires.
Après les avoir testés chacun plusieurs jours, j’ai été dans l’obligation de me rendre à l’évidence, les écouteurs me sont douloureux, chose que je n’ai pas connu avec d’autres marques que j’avais auparavant.
Ce n’est pas horrible, mais assez gênant au bout de 3/4 d’heure – 1h de port …
Est-ce car j’avais auparavant des modèles intra-auriculaire et que ceux-ci sont avec des barres externes ?
Je n’arrive pas à comprendre pourquoi alors qu’ils ne sont ni trop imposants, ni trop gros pour mes oreilles ….
Cela dit, de tous les commentaires que j’ai pu lire avant de me décider, je suis la seule à m’en plaindre alors je suppose que ce sont mes conduits auditifs qui ne collent pas avec leurs formes…
C’est donc un souci bien minime au vu du son (je le répète une fois encore 😉) incroyable que j’ai avec ces ears acheté à un prix si bas, et comparativement à la satisfaction qu’ils m’apportent au quotidien …
Ah j’oubliais de préciser cette dernière chose comme me l’a signalé mon fils.
Lorsque vous êtes en train de les utiliser, votre entourage ne se rend pas du tout compte que vous êtes en train d’écouter de la musique !!
Ils sont TOTALEMENT silencieux, ce qui est très très appréciable pour ceux qui sont assis à côté de vous lors d’un voyage et qui ne désirent pas subir vos goût musicaux !!
J’espère que ces réflexions partagées pourront vous aider à faire un choix éclairé si vous hésitez entre différents modèles en dessous de 100 euros comme j’ai pu le faire pendant un mois avant de choisir ces merveilles de Soundcore …

Good value, effective earphones. Comfortable, with a range of different size silicone tips to get the best fit. Good noise cancelling – have been able to listen to podcasts in the gym without needing to increase the volume. Fairly quick charge, which lasts long enough for my requirements. It was easy to download the app onto my phone and I like the range of sound options available. Very happy with these earbuds.
